Very nice under lift stand. Strong and stable, but without taking up too much space. Some of these have external bracing which makes it hard to move around under the vehicle. This one is streamlined around the base so you don’t get hung up.

Better quality than other units . Particularly assembled. Works great. I first ordered a Sunex which had missmached parts and I returned it. Dose not pay to buy cheapest price product.

Good quality tool by OTC. Well packaged, build quality was good. Nice heavy cast adjustment but with big acme threads. Had to add some Lucas grease to the dry bearings. Very stable under a vehicle.

These are well built and operate very smooth with a rubber pad installed in the sadle to prevent scaring of underbody or what ever is being held by the stand. The price was a little higher than their competition but well worth the price. OTC has been used in my shop for years and haven’t let me down so far.

I’ve often stood beneath a vehicle on the lift, wondering if the large transmission, axle, or other heavy component that I was about to remove was going to upset the balance of the vehicle and cause it to slide, then drop off the lift and crush my redneck self to death. What an inglorious end! Well, now at least I can rest easy knowing that when I die, it will be preceded by me saying: “Hey ya’ll, watch this!” and will lead to my five minutes of fame on youtube (search for “redneck suicide stunt”.
Anyhow, these stands do work well once they’re in place. The bearings are completely exposed and I doubt they’ll hold up well in the dust around here. Not a deal breaker. It’s a little awkward to adjust these guys, as you need to hold the top pad stationary whilst spinning the handle. If you’ve been drinking, it’s easy to hit yourself. Then again, if you’ve been drinking, working under a car on the lift is probably a bad idea anywho.
In all seriousness: these do work okay, they seem sturdy enough and I do feel safer. I just wish they were designed to be easier to set up.

It’s pretty basic…it does exactly what I want it to do when I have a car up on the lift. It holds up pretty much anything you want (it’s like having another set of hands under the lift to help hold something up while you bolt something together). The top (where it touches whatever you have it against) is rubber and kind of in the shape of a “U” or a sideways “C”. I use it mostly for holding up the exhaust, or sway bars, etc.. the other day I used it to hold up the oil pan (it didn’t dent the pan), so yes, I do like it. It has a handle you simply rotate (clockwise or counterclockwise) and it either raises or lowers whatever it is you’re supporting. Nice small base area (on the floor) so you don’t trip over it. No peddal to trip on, etc.. Nice, basic, simple, effective. I paid like $20 more for this (over the generic ones) because I am a dealer technician and I have used many OTC tools in the past, and I trust their products. My life (and limbs) are worth the extra $20.

Bought for my husband. He says they work great so 5 stars! However, the packaging was a little flimsy. Nothing was missing or broken but the cheap cardboard could definitely be upgraded. There were large zip tie wraps around the boxes but one was split open at the seams on the cardboard

It is made in China like most everything else but still made well, I did however take it apart to lube the bearing with better grease, came a little dry. I liked the wider than most support and it also has a thick piece tire rubber mounted to it. Great stand for the price.
