The media could not be loaded.
The case is decent but the sliding stand and pencil charging is horrible. The stand jams every time I try to use it, and done so since day one. Magnetic charger for the pencil cannot be used unless you take the backing plate of the case off. You can’t take pictures unless you take the back plate off either as it completely covers the camera. I cannot believe otter box even sells it, I thought there products were throughly tested before they just thrown to the market. If you need a case for your iPAD 13 don’t buy this one it’s not worth it. Since writing this review the slide portion has completely broken, the plastic tab have broken off and the cheap slide stand is no longer usable or functional. This is the absolute worst case I have ever seen from a decent company like otter box. I would not purchase it period. For the cost you may as well just wrap it in bubble wrap and pop-cycle sticks for the stand, that would work longer than this junk has.

I’ve trusted OtterBox Defenders to protect both my iPhones and my iPad Pro’s for 8 years now. So far, dropping either when protected with my Defenders, has resulted in no damage to my iPhones or my iPad Pro’s. So, OtterBox Defenders do the job I buy them to do. However, the last iPad Pro 13 (M4) Defender I bought several weeks ago on Amazon to protect my new iPad Pro was very difficult to use. It’s got a little kickstand that comes out to hold it up, but it didn’t very work well, resulting in my raging frustration over and over trying to make that little kickstand either deploy or retract. This is a poor design. Finally, I took a fall where my iPad Pro crashed to the ground protected by the Defender. My iPad Pro survived but, the Defender did not, and that is to be expected. However, in this case, good riddance. I’ve ordered two more Defenders to replace it. Hopefully I’ll have better luck. UPDATE: The two replacement Defenders I just received do not suffer from the defects of my first one. Tada! Thank you, Otterbox!

Cette coque très facile à installer est un véritable armure pour iPad Pro 13 pouces. Les dimensions de la coque sont parfaitement adaptées à la tablette. Mais cette protection n’est pas vraiment utile pour une utilisation domestique car la coque augmente considérablement le poids de la tablette et la protection souple de l’écran fait perdre un peu de qualité d’image. Par contre pour une utilisation nomade en extérieur ou en voyage la protection est parfaitement assurée contre les chutes, la poussière ou les rayures. En résumé cette robuste coque dotée d’un carénage un peu lourd et volumineux est une protection tout terrain efficace.

This is one of the best cases out there as far as protection for your iPad. It’s a little tight to get the front cover off but I only use that when traveling so it’s not a deal breaker. You can’t put the cover on it if you have your magnetic Apple Pencil charging on the side. That a bit of a nuisance.

Love the Otterbox and trust them to protect all my high value electronics that they make their products for. It DOES have a place to charge your Apple Pencil and a seperate place to store it safely and hold it there VERY securely. Was a little unimpressed by the “tilting mechanism” on this particular model, seems like a little bit of an afterthought.

I think my headline sums it up best — “typical otterbox”! This means that it’s GREAT quality, with GREAT customer service (if by some off chance you even need it) but that comes with a HIGH PRICE.
You’ll have to decide if it’s worth it to you — in my case, I have difficulty justifying the price for a phone case, but for my iPad, it always makes sense, since that (in my case, at least) is something that I use for at least 2-4x the lifespan of the typical cell phone.
Not to mention a ~$100 investment can make or break (literally!) your iPad!

A l’avant, on a un rabat en micro fibre avec fermeture aimanté, qui va bien protéger l’écran, et que l’on peu rabattre pour en faire stand pour l’iPad, qui tiendra correctement.
A l’arrière, le plastique transparent permet de profiter du design de l’iPad, tout en le protégeant !
Une porte stylo est également présent, ce qui sera parfait pour les utilisateurs de stylets !
J’apprécie la solidité des “charnières” de la coque, qui sembles prometteuses en terme de longévité !
Dernier point, la taille : cette coque est parfaitement adaptée aux dimensions de l’iPad, nul besoin de forcer pour l’y insérer, et il reste bien à sa place une fois dedans !
