This is a pretty protective and easy case to have for your ipad. First thing I will say is make sure you have the correct size ipad. This is very specific and will not fit all models. That being said, this is pretty easy to install the case on the ipad but you will need to make sure you screen is clean just to avoid having those dust under the screen protector. The screen protector is NOT temper glass so be aware of that. The actual screen protector does not remove response of any kind but it does get scratched easily so be careful not to get something like a key pressing against it. There is a stand for this which is pretty sturdy. The case hugs onto the ipad well so you do not have to worry about it slipping around. The edges are pretty padded to provide protections on corner drops. This is a THICK case so expect it to make your ipad bigger and heavier as any otterbox case would be. It has a standard black color is great. It is protective but you can see scratches and stuff on the case overtime. But I do not see issues with the sides or edges becoming warped from the heat. I found no issues with charging or syncing which is great. It is does a good job on protecting your ipad. Overall the case works great. It provides you with all the different types of protections such as screen protector and shock resistant. I am pretty happy with this case. The stand works great and I am able to adjust the device accordingly.

I’ve had a Defender case on my Samsung S21 since new. The phone looks brand new, even after multiple drops. Otterbox has saved my bacon numerous times. The only issue with that case was that the flap covering the USB port gave way after years of being opened and closed.
Many people dislike Otterbox Defender cases because they are “too big and heavy.” But that’s the point. They need to be for the best protection
This case is no different.
I always wonder why people cheap out on cases when they pay over a thousand dollars on a mobile device like the Air M2. Or put some non-protective designer case on it.
This is a great case, but some folks complain that the clear screen protector does not fit snugly against the screen, but I have not encountered that issue. (Though I would prefer not to have such a protector, so I could use a tempered glass unit.) The magnetic flap used to close the case flopped down a couple of times on me, but it’s not a major concern.
My phones are always kept in Otterboxes for a reason: Otterboxes are simply the best option for longevity and protection, in my opinion.

Ich hatte bereits für verschiedene Ipads diese Form der Hülle gekauft. Und wie erwartet passt die Otterbox-Hülle perfekt zum neuen Ipad Air 13. Die Rückseite ist transparent und das vordere Cover verwendet perfekt die Abschaltfunktion des Tablets. Zudem ist diese Hülle sehr gut verarbeitet und bietet einen sehr guten Schutz für das Ipad. Das Tablet läßt sich im Querformat aufstellen um beispielsweise Streamingdienst zu nutzen. Außerdem läßt sich der Apple Pencil sicher am Tablet befestigen und laden.

I’ve had OtterBox in the past and found them bulky, that’s not the case with this, it protection without too much bulk. Finally had my slip and dropped my iPad Air on to a wooden floor today, not so much as a scratch on it. Thank you OtterBox! This case and OtterBox screen protector saved me!

I’m giving this a one star for now but will update if I find over time it deserves better star rating.
I brought OtterBox as it’s a great brand with good production quality and durability from knocks.
But the reason I’ve given it one star is because it doesn’t seem to work with the iPad Air 13 inch. The flap for the pencil just flops around and doesn’t stick very well to the magnet which means you have to move it out of the way all the time. The stand bend doesn’t actually provide durable standing. In other words it falls over all the damn time! Which kind of defeats the idea of having a stand case. The front part of the case also seems a bit prone to slipping slightly so it doesn’t quite sit on the screen properly.
It’s a nice colour. The clear back is a nice touch if you’ve got a device in a colour you want to see.
Its not cheap but it’s not as expensive as others which probably have similar issues with a heavy device.
