We have had this toy for 30 days and it’s the first toy that she hasn’t destroyed yet! The squeaker is very large so no worries about choking. There is no stuffing which is good because my pup eats the stuffing. The fur on the top is short and she is able to chew that off but it goes right through safely! The stitching is durable so far she has not gotten into the toy. I have a 6 lb Chihuahua with big sharp teeth! I have since purched 3 more of these so she has 1 in each room.

I love this toy for smaller pups. In fact this toy is so great that I recently purchased a second one. The first lasted for over seven months, being thrown, retrieved and chewed over the course of this time. I replaced this one because a little of edging was beginning to come loose, and the tough squeaker had finally collapsed. Plus it was completely gross with having collected stains and dog saliva.
Without a doubt both myself and my pup recommend this toy as it is one of the first one chosen when play time comes around. So I feel confident that your dog will feel the same way.

I had to purchase another one of these after he chewed up enough of the other one he had. The squeaker isn’t super durable, but he doesn’t instantly go to tearing this one up like his other toys with stuffing. I like that there isn’t stuffing in this because then when he does chew on it, I don’t find fluff all over the house. I will buy another one if needed because he carries this around like it is his most prized possession. The material isn’t super thick but it is a little bit tougher than some toys. Definitely NOT for a strong chewer, but still fun and worth the price!

Tag says it will squeak even after punctured…wrong. if you got a chewer, it will not last long. Took my tiny little ra terrier 10 minutes to kill it and then another 15 or so minutes to remove it. She still had fun with it.

We have a Yorkie who loves squeaky toys. However, we’ve seen her shred a supposedly “stronger” (that’s what the label claimed) stuffed elephant with three squeakers in one day: she broke the squeaker in the elephant’s stomach, tore off one leg and part of an ear. Worse, there was a squeaker in the elephant’s leg that I caught her chewing on. Stuffing was all over the place.
These toys are perfect. They have no stuffing inside. The squeaker is much, much sturdier and she’s had this toy now for a week. It is fully intact, squeaker working. She loves to have us toss this toy, she will retrieve it, and bring it back, hoping we will play “tug o’ war” with her. The toy is too small for that, so we’ll be purchasing a larger one in this brand that is large enough to play a bit of “tug o war.” We found these toys to be way less expensive here–in fact, the pet shop charged double for what you pay here on Amazon. This toy is sewn very well, so it has not split, and our dog is a heavy chewer–she would make a good tester for dog toy manufacturers. This size is good for Yorkies and smaller dogs, but this company makes toys in all different sizes for different-sized pups.

The boy loves to just chew and chew on things, but the little girl particularly loves toys with faces (and other small animals – she absolutely went ga-ga over a kitten we adopted last year). Just like a brother, he loves to take whatever she’s got and run away with it. So a toy with an adorable face and a durable body is perfect for this pair.
