Oxbow Essentials Adult Rabbit Food – All Natural

Giving to a rabbit in my garden. Think he eats it for it’s always gone in the morning . Read reviews about this brand which were positive so bought it knowing nothing about it. Guess the rabbit likes it.

I started ordering this 3 months back. My two darling bunns 💕have been eating through 2 packs of this a month. It is by far their favourite.

What I love is:

– that my bunns 💕 loved it from the very first bite.
– that my bunns 💕 aren’t hungry even after having their food.
– that their poop always looks big and dry, since they started on these pellets, which proves that their abdomens are doing well and that they are healthy.
– that they don’t feel the need to overeat, even if we leave a bowl full of pellets, while we are away, which was not an option with any other pellets I tried so far. Usually they would be hungry within minutes of feeding and would finish off the whole bowl in a few hours. But this one keeps their tummies full for around 6-8 hours. They do binge every now and then, as they love it, but a couple of bites does it for them. They never overate since we started giving them these pellets.
– that it doesn’t have a strong odour.
– that it doesn’t get powdered easily. There is very little dust at the bottom.

What I would’ve liked is:

– for it to be a bit cheaper, but I am not complaining! My bunns 💕 have never been happier. So every penny I pay is worth it. I must hope though, that I will always be able to afford them.
– for there to be different size options, in case I want a smaller pack for any reason.

All in all, we all love this product and I have taken a bi-weekly subscription, so that my two little girls 💕 are always fed and content.

I had originally purchased another brand that had so many ‘snacks’ in the bag, and he would only pick through the food and eat those. So, hoping he will eat this one. It smells fresh and looks great. Oh, and smaller pieces. The other brand had huge pieces in it.

I have been a rabbit owner for the last decade and use almost exclusively Oxbow products. This is a great pelleted diet without any added and unnecessary ingredients like many of the lesser quality brands found at the pet store or online. My rabbit loves the food, which is always fresh and easily resealable. I recommend Oxbow to anyone looking for a good, high quality food, hay, toy, or treat for their small mammals.

My vet recommended a tbsp of this food along with her hay and fresh greens as a multivitamin. My bunny loves it and will run around our feet until she gets some.

This has been good feed for my rabbits. They seem to do really well with this brand. It has timothy hay in it which a lot of feeds don’t so a plus there for your male rabbits.

According to most vets, and there’s quite a few in my family, Oxbow is essential for any small critter you have. Be it a rabbit, Guinea pig, chinchilla, etc., Oxbow is top notch! Packed full of healthy vitamins and minerals that are essential to your pet’s longevity, this brand is first class! Absolutely recommend this for any and all small pets.
