Easy to install and worth the money. My son literally installed this in my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer in a matter of minutes. I love my car and plan to drive it until she just won’t go any more. I don’t want a car payment and if you are trying to update the middle console top for your Trailblazer, this is the choice for you!!!!

Product was an exact fit as the original. Just unscrew the old one, take the top of the armrest off and put on the new one, and reattach to the hinge. Good as new!

OEM good quality plastic upper/lower shell for 2004 Trailblazer center console lid/arm rest.
As clearly specified, this is the shell only. It does not come with the latch, hinge or screws; If your latch is still good, this is the way to go to save a few bucks’ was able to repair my broken center console in my 2004 Trailblazer in minutes. I’d buy this shell again and would recommend it if I had a friend who had a similar GM vehicle where the console latch was not broken. In my case I ordered this and then a low cost latch separately for just under $6 form Amazon prime and still came out cheaper than buying the kit with the latch by a few dollars so I’m happy with the product and purchase.

I have a 2006 Trailblazer and the center console wouldn’t close. After researching, the alignment pin broke and the reason it wouldn’t stay closed. This not only fixed that, the console was also broke in other places unknown at the time) closes super tight, high quality!

After several times attempting to fix the broken post with super glue on my center console lid for my 06 Trailblazer, I decided it was time to stop the madness and buy the replacement lid piece I needed.
This replacement kit fits my Trailblazer and now my center console lid doesn’t pop up while I’m driving down the road.
I only used the one piece that has the post sticking out of it, since the upper piece and the latch were not broken.
The first thing I noticed was that the post lid piece I was replacing was just slightly smaller than the original, but not by much, and all the screw holes lined up, so I continued to replace just the post lid piece.
The picture of the post lid piece does not show that there’s a slot in the back that the hinge of the center console assembly needs to fit through. I was hoping I could just take the broken lid piece off and put the new piece on without taking apart the whole center console, but that was not the case.
To remove the screws for the hinge, I had to unscrew all the screws and bolts for the center console, and remove the pieces to get to the hinge screws.
Once that was done, it was simple to place the replacement piece and screw it down. The whole process took about 10 – 15 minutes to remove all the center console pieces, the old lid piece, then install the new center console piece, and reassemble the center console.
I dropped one screw into the abyss of the center console “hole” and didn’t find it. I looked everywhere. I’m hoping that it will eventually shake loose from its hiding place and I can screw it in the one remaining hole that is currently empty.
I rated this 4 stars because the smaller size of the lid piece and because there were no instructions included. It would have been nice to know before I started that I would have to remove the hinge. Without instructions, and with that part of the lid not in the picture, I didn’t know that until I started to remove the old lid piece. Otherwise, it’s great and I’m glad I finally replaced the thing. The super glue treatment didn’t exactly work well long term.
