I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this microscope for the price. When we first tried using it, all we saw was black or white, but we realized later that it was user error! After reading through the instructions and some more trial and error, we had some beautiful images that we were all very pleased with.

Packaging was excellent! Having premade slides to get you started as soon as you open the box is great! Really a great overall piece of equipment. Having a cell phone adapter so you can take pictures of what you are looking at, very happy with this purchase & the joy in our child’s face was well worth it.

We ordered this entire set, including the phone adapter and slides for our son‘s birthday. The only thing we received was the microscope which he couldn’t even use without the slides. Nothing else was in the package. Very disappointing for him. Would not buy again.

1. Comes with the wrong power supply as it is not useable in Australia.
2. No instructions to set up for mobile phone
3. The manual that came with it is 100% useless
4. The manual does not explain what the items are or how to use them.
Apart from the above it looks great as I brought it to see what it was like as I would like to get a much better one.

I got this microscope as a gift for my son because he has an insatiable interest in anything to do with biology and science. He has showed me so many cool things through this that I am kind of stunned myself with how well it works and how far down microscopically that you can see the various different things on the slides.
From what I can tell, he says the operation of its pretty simple to figure out if you just glance through the instruction manual that it comes with. It has been a real winner of a gift for him, so no complaints from me whatsoever.
