Video quality was excellent. I used the camcorder to record my wife singing in a church. She is a soprano and the audio was very good using an external microphone (Movo VRX10) attached to the camcorder mic input and to the shoe. Face recognition and focus works well as you zoom in. Battery is charged while attached to the camcorder, so no extra charger is needed. Zoom function is excellent. And there is an on-screen level to help keep the camera at the proper angle, if you are filming while moving. One negative is the menu for naming things using the touch screen; getting the correct letter is hard to do! Is this so hard to get right?!

I’m a newbie at this. With that said, this camera is pretty sweet. Easy to use, light weight and great quality. I spent weeks researching cameras and sending links to friends that actually knew what they were doing. They’re happy with my choice. For the price you really can’t go wrong.

Very impressed with the video quality. Due to the Optical Zoom (not digital) there is no degredation when zooming in all the way. Most cameras utilize digital zoom coupled with a limited optical zoom. That saves the manufacturer money, but the video suffers.
Adorama adds several accessories to this package that you would normally have to pay much more for. the only additional item I would purchase with this camera is an extra battery, and another memory card, otherwise this is the best deal I have found.

I just shot my first video with this camera last week and the 4K picture is great. My only complaint is the battery life is very short. So I recommend buying some backup batteries or an external power supply.

When the product arrived it kept saying “error occured. please turn unit off, then turn it on again”. It also wouldn’t focus correctly, sometimes the touch screen wouldn’t work, and the zoom doesn’t work either. Seriously disappointed and am looking to do a return with a full refund.
