The batteries work as intended. The only thing is they came wrapped in black plastic instead of packaging you would expect from the store. Totally suspicious looking but they work and no issues so far.

This is the first time I’ve tried out Panasonic Cr123 batteries. Negative Reviews I’ve read stated the batteries weren’t current. Meaning they didn’t have a 10 year shelf life due to the fact that they had received back dated batteries. You have to remember that all stores do this. Ever order produce at your local market, pick them up and when you get home they aren’t the best selection!? There’s a reason for that. Same with meats too. They are hoping that the customer doesn’t pay attention to those details. But those types of practices should bring negative reviews about the item or battery itself. The negative review should be aimed towards Amazon or whatever business which means using TRUST PILOT. You can always return the batteries or any item if they don’t match the description. Streamlight Cr123 batteries are just not good. I always received current dates but there overall performance while being used and waiting to be used was just consistently terrible so I gave them a 2 star. Newest Gen of Duracell Cr123 performed as expected in use. And they hadn’t lost any performance while waiting to be used unlike streamlight. Panasonic has always been consistent to I don’t expect any issues but if one arises I’ll update this review.

Purchased 6 of these batteries for my wireless security devices. purchased exact battery type as those I was replacing, which were still working good after 5 years! Just doing some preventative maintenance and replacing old with new.
Glad to report that all (6) new Panasonic Industrial CR123A batteries I received in one single box were the same (linear) as far as “out of the box” voltage readings-and all were dated 6/2036 as far as expiration dates.
My concern before ordering was that these batteries would not be very fresh-NOT THE CASE!
All good. I can also confirm that these batteries ARE CR-123A and not 123.
Hope this helps others that may be on the fence of purchasing. The price was excellent too.

Direct replacement for smoke detector, excellent fit and hopefully long service life. Seems to be a high quality battery and great value for the money l, only needed one but cheaper for multi pack.

Tested these batters and all returned with 3v, as expected. Devices also work normally as expected. I would buy it again at this price point.
