If you have an apple air tag and the battery dies which it will after about a year then DO NOT BUY DURACELL batteries as a replacement, they will not work. The panasonic type battery is the only replacement battery that will work in an apple air tag.

I tried several different 2032 3v batteries for my AirTag. After several failed attempts to get the AirTag to work, I searched Amazon for the original battery which are these Panasonics! At first attempt it did not work and had to search the internet for troubleshooting. If you have this problem, keep lifting the battery off the connector with the metal lid on about a dozen of times. Each time you should hear the connection sound. Mine finally reset and connected to my phone after trying it 5Xs. Hope this helps someone else!
