The instructions that come with this were for a different model of bow. They were awful and don’t really explain how to set this up at all. The bow itself is ok. Won’t hunt with it, but it will be ok for a bow to lend to friends to come target shoot with me

I was VERY pumped to get this as I have always wanted one and this seemed like a very complete and beginner-friendly avenue. I took an archery course in college in the 80s, taught by the long-time USA Olympic coach. We had recurve bows, but my wingspan is 77″ and they did not fit me. The coach lent me his unobtanium competition compound bow with all the counterweights and dampers. The ultimate cheat code. Staggering, just staggering. What a privilege.
We cannot do everything, and I left that experience in my past. I saw this and decided it was time to try it out and have some fun with it. Everything was great when I opened the box. The 1st thing I did was to check the manual to see how to max the draw length because of all the parameters, this would be paramount. The manual is horrible. Little tiny pictures with arrows to what you are not sure what in an area with many possibilities. It refers you to a draw length chart that does not exist. I did a little homework and someone more experienced claimed that the draw length diagram, such as it is, directs you to the wrong fasteners. Keep in mind that all this is under considerable tension and contains massive potential energy. I am NOT going to guess what the hell to loosen. I have no idea how to resolve this.
Determined to at least assemble it, in the name of a review, the first step is to mount the arrow rest. The fastener wanted to cross-thread. On examination, the threads were boogered, possibly by the anodization. The hole is threaded all the way through and, having back access, I threaded it in from that side to clear the threads. This worked, mostly, but the bolt does not go all the way through, and I still had to massage it. Lots of metal fillings about. Not happy, but we got through it. Next step is the bow stabilizer. Same deal with the threads, but no back access. Forcing the issue, I began to destroy the threads on the stabilizer and carving up the bow threads. To go any further, I will have to guess at the threads, hope I have the right tap, run it through I am now assuming ALL the threaded holes, get a die and clean up what are now iffy fasteners, and go on.
Having accomplished that, I get to play landmine defuser to adjust draw length. This is in no way the experience it should be. Hard fail.

I can’t express how disappointed I am. I waited for weeks until I had a free day to take this bow kit out and try it only to have it break on the third shot. It looks nice but it not robustly constructed so performance wise it is terrible. I wish they’d deuce some of the items it ships with and spend the extra on the cam system. Mine failed catastrophically almost immediately. Maybe it was just mine but I’m not confident on the design now. Not recommended.

Great Bow and Easy to set up, if you have never set a bow up don’t count on detailed instructions. The Peep sight broke with in the first 50 shots. Overall its still a great bow to shoot and very accurate. Other than the peep sights no complaints. We will be ordering more for our school.

This is a full set up for the beginning archer, it has a widely adjustable draw and weight. The included arrows are great for target shooting and are made of carbon so they will last. If you have ever looked for a bow that is good enough to hunt with you will know how expensive they are so at this price e point to get a full set up that is capable of bringing down a deer is Unheard of. It has quiver, sight, prepare guard release, rest, stabilizer and so much more. The only issue I had with it is when using the included release it let go mid draw and sent the arrow right into the ground. I use a different type of release normally so that’s of no concern to me but Aand i would recommend buying a quality release to use with it.

Don’t go for the expensive one! Why should I pay for the brand if I can shoot the same quality as a bow worth hundreds of dollars! I guess the seller didn’t mention it enough, but I don’t have to pay anyone to replace the string. yes you don’t need to use a bow string or pro shop! You can do home yourself. It is a product that provides advantages in many ways. The equipment provided is quite sufficient, nothing extra is needed. It is a very high quality bow that you can go hunting or target shooting as it comes. The seller is incredible, I had a small problem, he responded very quickly and stands behind the product he sold, answered all my questions. I will buy the same product for my daughter and friend soon. I forgot to mention the arrows, they also fly very accurately, it is truly an excellent kit. For the first time, I received a better quality product than I paid for!

I haven’t had a chance to take this bow out to a range yet but it was well packages, seems reasonably well made, was easy enough to put together, easy to learn how to draq and includes everything you need to get started. It’s obviously not a premium bow, but is a perfect starter package for someone like me. It’s going into my SHTF kit.
