A little more on pricey side but you pay for quality and it’s purpose always fits perfectly

I own lots of Park Tool stuff and love it all, except for this. The seal in one of the syringes does not work. When I pull a slight vacuum to extract dissolved air, it pulls air past the plunger seal. I didn’t notice this until it was too late and I filled my brand new Dominion A4 with air. I then had to disconnect and start over, running through the Hayes recommended process a handful of times to get all that air out. To make it worse, the seal also let fluid past it in the other direction, resulting in brake fluid all over the place.
The o-rings on the adapters are also far too soft, maybe 40-50A durometer. They’re so soft that they just deform / expand out of the way such that they don’t actually seal anything. They need to be closer to 70A durometer or higher.
The syringe needs a better seal design, perhaps a double-ringed seal. I wasted a lot of time due to this defect, time I could have been out riding 🙁

2nd kit I’ve purchased. 1st kit was for mineral oil brake systems, needed one for a DOT fluid system i was working on. Works as designed, a nice asset to the shop. Now I can offer that service to others with DOT fluid brakes.
Pushes new fluid in, as you suck out old fluid and any air out of the system. Don’t know what you’re doing? Plenty of youtube videos to show you how.
Great service to preform every so many years on your bike or others to keep the system functioning properly.

This kit is really nice and I keep all my brake pads, sand paper, spare parts in the box. I like the syringe holders a lot. The fittings are great but the syringes themselves are terrible. They puked a bunch of dot fluid while doing a bleed on my new Hayes dominions. The replacement kit seems better but I’m keeping my $15 starter kit around just in case.

Con loro non sbagli.

A chip from machining was left inside the red adapter. If a chip goes inside the brake line, good night!!
Other than this, my experience is that a $20 set with funnel is so much easier to use.

It seems like the big sell are the syringe holders. But these holders don’t account for different thicknesses between the handlebar and the seat stay. On top of this the “DOR” stickers literally fell off after one use. So much for Park Tool being the premium bike tool company.
