Great toy, but seems very delicate when handling. And expected the speed to be faster especially to keep kitten interested but it was great for their entertainment.

My cat (almost exactly a year old) has basically stopped playing with all toys and prefers to bite me and wrestle and make me chase him around the apartment. Started playing with this less than five minutes after I placed it down even if he was a bit timid at first, so I’m optimistic !!

Both of my cats, the playful one and the older more dignified fat one, love this toy! It’s quieter than other motorized toys and the way the mouse goes forward and back plus up and down makes it fun for them. My older cat rarely plays so watching him rabbit kick the bottom is awesome and hilarious! Make sure to turn off when not directly using, it does eat batteries, but is worth it. Getting to choose the color is a nice bonus, the light blue stands out enough where I don’t walk into or trip over it like everything else in the house but isn’t garish.

I can’t keep my cats off it. They fight me when I try to turn it off. My toddlers have become cats and everyone is hissing and grabbing at this thing. I wait for the batteries to run out, open a can of food, or wait until the kids crash before even attempting to grab it. The batteries take FOREVER to run out so usually naps and food bribary. Just a warning for those so inclined. I obviously have boundary issues.

My cat was entertained for about 5 minutes. The batteries only lasted for about an hour for three whole energizer batteries. It quickly slows down and is not as fast due to the motors deteriorating quickly.

This looks like a good cat toy. It takes
3AA batteries, not included, but it does include a small screw driver to open the battery port. I own rechargeable batteries as it’s more cost effective for my cats toys that require batteries. It has a slow and fast mode, and off switch.
I did end up sending it back however bc my cats had absolutely no interest in this toy, I think they are just very picky. They have a high prey drive and prefer toys that move around more and can roll and run away. Other than that I think this is a good toy, if your cats are into one like this.

So we bought this because we have a new wee family member – Coal 😊 he’s amazing, he’s about 13 weeks old and he’s super playful and inquisitive and always wants to play! (when he’s not cat napping of course 😆).
This interactive toy arrived packaged well and was super easy to set up – you literally just use the (super sweet) little screwdriver provided (very nice touch I must say) to open the battery compartment, pop 3 AA batteries in and switch it on! there are 3 options – ‘slow’ ‘fast’ and ‘stop’.
The unit is fairly sturdy – I’d happily (and enthusiastically) recommend this toy for kittens (rather than adult cats as we have 4 adult cats and not one have showed any interest 🤣) however our kitten absolutely loves it! he’s lot happier since playing with it. Happy Cat happy life 😅

My cat loves to play with my hand in a whack-a-mole fashion and I wanted to curb that habit. This serves as a perfect substitute. It’s not too big, so I keep it by my bed and use it when my cats comes to wake me in middle of the night to play. This has two speeds and both work fantastically to entertain my cat for a long time!
This device is battery operated and doesn’t have a charging port. There is no assembly required other than installing the batteries. The device is very study and hasn’t broken yet, even with all the aggressive play!

the toy is smartly pictured with a kitten because it quite small in surface area, which i find odd because it is quite tall. So overall not a small thing to have lying on the floor, but provides a small play area, kind of a weird choice. the play styles, fast and slow are pretty unstimulating. I think if your pet is already active they will certainly enjoy, but it isnt dynamic enough for pets that need more than a slow rolling mouse to think about playing. decently built for the price, no complaints on materials/build. i think the plastics/felt are executed much better than the electronics. Worth a try as far as affordable, automatic pet toys go, just be ready if your pet needs something a little more exciting.

I’m sorry but not one of five strictly indoor cats ranging in age from eight weeks to 14 years do not play with this at all. The moving mouse maybe could have been a brighter color to attract the attention of the cats.
