Received it and it did not decompress. It remained in its folding state indicating the foam is very cheap and bad quality. So I returned the item.

I keep coming back and buying these beds!
I now have more of these beds than I have dogs. One in each crate (because they fit perfectly in the crates) and 2 of the XLs in the living room as a doggie lounge area. As long as they sell them, this is what I’ll buy for them.
An AFFORDABLE orthopedic mattress… for dogs. There removable cover is a nice soft material, like a microfiber. Easy to clean, just slip the cover off and throw it in the wash. The foam is super comfy- it’s supportive, with lots of cushion. It’s much like human bed material.
When you open the package, it is flat as a tortilla. It takes about 12 hours to come up to 4 inches thick, but about a full 24 to get to it’s full expanded shape. Sometimes they smell a bit funny, but it goes away quickly.
These beds are made to last with regular use- I’ve had 2 of them for a couple years and they still look new. Our dogs sleep and on them daily. But they absolutely would not stand up to a chewer. (We have a “super chewer” with anxiety who had to have a special ordered bed for his crate- he can’t be trusted with this bed, lol) For nondestructive dogs who don’t chew their stuff, this bed could last a lifetime.
Expect your dogs to fight over them. New beds are terrible at our house.

A good size for my 23kg mixed retriever. He loves it! It’s soft and comfortable and looks pretty sturdy. Let’s hope it’s lasts a long time.

Llegaron muy bien embalados y sin aire por lo que en donde lo pongas poco a poco tomará su forma, les ha encantado, tiene un cierre para lavar la funda por lo que es muy práctico e higiénico.

I really liked this dog bed. It comes vacuum sealed so don’t expect to use it right away as it says to wait about 48 hours before use.
Once it goes to its normal state, it’s very thick. The blue covering was a nice color and seemed like good quality. My dog really liked it and took to it immediately. I have a 75 pound Doberman and it fit her crate perfectly, and was good for her weight and size. I just can’t say much as she chewed it within a few days and destroyed it haha

I bought the medium size for both my dogs (Cocker Spaniel and Spaniel mix), and it was plenty roomy for them. If you have a dog over 25-30 lbs or so, you will definitely want to go up in size. I paid just over $18 each for them and I feel they’re well worth that price. They expanded fully within about two days, and felt soft but firm. I was impressed with how thick they were. I was upset to note that my arthritic cocker spaniel didn’t seem to like the bed at first, as she tried it out but moved off it and would not sleep on it. I’m happy to report she’s now sleeping on it every night. I realized that it was probably giving off an odor that she didn’t care for at first, and that once it had aired out enough, she then was happy to sleep on it. So you may want to take that in consideration if your dog seems to take a dislike to it, and let it air out some more before discarding it. I would say it took about two addition days for it to air out (on top of the two it took to expand), but I only aired it indoors. If you’re able to air it outdoors, it might be fine after the first two days. I couldn’t really smell a strong smell myself, but I didn’t have it in a confined area, and I have sinus problems that impede my sense of smell. At any rate, both dogs seem to love it now. I also really like that it has a removable cover with a zipper.

UPDATE 1/1/2020: I am updating my review to 5 stars. It took over 20 days for this bed to expand to just over 4 inches thick, but, it did! My previous review is below and exactly it was when I first posted for this review.
Instructions and product info says to allow 24 hours and that is way too short a time.
In that the memory foam i this is very thick and good quality, and due to the compression used to package it, there is no way it will expand fully in just 24 hours.
It actually began to expand more about a week after we put i on the floor. Hig density memory foam needs time to assume its full thickness, especially if its been highly compressed for shipment and that way for perhaps months.
Be patient, and this bed will work out very well. now our two Goldens who have other comfy beds in the house too, fight over this one and they both try to get on it first at night! Hmmm…just might need to order one more of these and at this price, I am fine doing that!
—————————–
We have a big golden girl, she is in the 90 pound range (large frame for her breed) and the X-large bed in this style works to support her long length. The bed memory and top foam seems very firm and it does support her well and keeps her large frame very comfortable overnight.
The product photos though would suggest a 4 or more inch thickness and that is not the case. We let it expand in a warm room for over 24 hours and it did not expand much. The thickness of this bed is under 3 inches at full expansion.
That’s not an issue if the firmness is adequate proportional to the thickness.
Just be aware you’re not going to get a bed as thick as the product photos would lead you to believe.
Did we get a similar to updated bed model by mistake that is thinner? I doubt that and it’s probably what is advertised other than being thinner than expected.
At under $40 for a bed like this and considering the nice firmness of the memory and topper foam combo, we’ll kee this and our girl seems quite content using it as well.
The positive benefit of a thinner bed is when warmer days come, it tends to be less hot to sleep on, the bed the dog will “sink” into. So a thinner bed is not all that bad, all considered.
3 stars for the tricky photo illustrations that suggest this bed is thicker than it really is and 5 stars for it’s nice density of the foam that will work, even though it is thinner. (Average = 4 stars).

This is a very nice bed!! I thought it would be a tad too small, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fit is perfect for my 48″ crate. It only took about 5 hrs to fully “inflate” and I crawled into our fur baby Versace’s crate to check the comfort. He is a 70 lb Afghan Hound and he loves it!
It’s important that he gets good sleep as we take him racing. Believe me, it’s super comfy!! Buy this bed if you love your dog!

Very happy with this product my dog loves his new bed. Only thing i would like is a new cover for it i haven’t seen anyway that sales covers for it which is a shame as you need to wash dogs covers regularly to keep your home smelling fresh,

I bought this to go on top of a cabinet that I converted into a cat “house”. I bought a different fluffier bed to go inside the cabinet. This bed is perfect. It is big enough for two of them at a time to lay and watch the birds outside the window. The cover comes off easily to wash. Inside the bed is a big nice foam block.
