This is the second time that I’ve bought this crate pad. The first one was extremely durable and so easy to clean, it made my life way easier. I repurchased after the first one wore out, and within a day there was tearing in some spots. Very disappointed in the decrease of quality. Maybe I just got a faulty one but I plan to look at other alternatives in the future.

We used these beds outside for our dogs to hang out when its warm and sunny. They are great because we can hose them off with some dish soap and they come pretty clean. We also use these when we take the dogs camping and have found them to be really useful!

I have an XL GSD (slim 104lbs) who had to have knee surgery about 9 months ago. We flew him from Germany to the US in a 700 series international dog kennel and the size we got fit in there perfectly. The only reason I did not score this 5stars all the way was for thickness. Dogs that need some cushioning for comfort is where this fell very short (you can see thin it is in one of the photos I’ve posted). If it had been a bit thicker, then it would have been more value for money, but because of this I had to buy another dog bed. I ended up having to pay the costs for two dog beds when I was hoping to only need to buy one.

Only one side is water/urine resistant. I don’t know if I just can’t read or if this isn’t clear in the description but it was VERY clear when my puppy had an accident on day 1 and I took it outside to clean it off and the water soaked right into one side and not the other. So now it smells like pee and that smell is sticking to it unfortunately.

This product lasted a day in the crate with my Great Dane/ Weimaraner mix. He chewed the side of it and ate the stuffing inside 😓 also was also not the very best waterproof product his pee soaked into the mat and smelled horrible.

Arrived in a vacuum sealed bag, seemed great. I let it fluff up and air out (wasn’t smelly, which is great!), but after looking carefully prior to even giving to dog, the seams were split. I could see the inside of the pad, unfortunately. Decided to return. The cover material seemed pretty durable and like it could be easily wiped down, though.

Not the thickest pad around but it is super easy to clean and seems comfortable enough for the dog (he’s not complaining anyway). Easy to clean is a priority for the humans in this house – we’re tired of throwing out fuzzy pads when an accident happens.
