This is not super high quality, but 1) the high sides are super helpful, and 2) for the price it is just fine. We use this for our foster cats in a separate room from our main cats. Works well, no complaints. Overall fine. Not maybe the litter box you are going to want for a multi-cat household and lots of cats, but for 1-2 cats, it is fine.

Tl;dr – Plastic is a bit flimsy, could snap easily if you aren’t careful. Doesn’t latch well. But it gets the job done and a bit of extra privacy for shy cats.
Got this because my roommate’s cat is just… The messiest litter box cat on Earth. He was raised with a large, multi cat litter box, and has developed a habit of liberally kicking litter everywhere rather than carefully burying his messes. I got these litter boxes to try and prevent this bad habit, but turns out he instead chooses to kick all litte straight out the only open side of it. So instead of litter everywhere, we now have small piles of it in front of the litter box. Small victories?

This litter box is awful. The lid is very flimsy. Without the lid, the box is too low and my cat tosses half his litter out onto the floor. The lid raises the sides, but it’s so lightweight and thin, when my cat paws at it, it bends and snaps off the sides. Almost every day, when I would scoop his box, the lid would be halfway off or laying next to the box. I think it popping off while he was using it scared him, because he started going to the bathroom next to it instead of inside it. He has lived with me for 9 years and never messed outside of his litter box, and now he quit using it.
I bought him a new litter pan without the lid but with high sides, much sturdier, and now he is using his new litter box. Since he only got a couple weeks’ use out of this litter box, I wanted a refund. The only option was to open a return, but I didn’t think Amazon would want a nasty, used litter box showing up at their facility, so I called Amazon’s customer support team to see if they could issue a refund without the return. I was told that, per Amazon’s policy, the only way they could issue a refund is I returned it. I explained to the customer service rep very clearly that this a USED litter box. It has been peed and pooped in. It has little dusty paw prints on it. I asked the rep if it was really necessary to return it, because that’s unsanitary. He put me on hold to talk to his lead, and then he came back and assured me that it was necessary to return it.
“I’m sure the UPS workers and people at Amazon who receive this return will be thrilled,” I told him. I’m really not sure what Amazon plans to do with a cheap, flimsy, smelly used $20 cat litter box, but it must be really important to subject their workers and UPS partners to something like that. So I dumped the old cat litter in the trash, put the used litter pan and crappy lid into a trash bag and put it into a box and taped it closed. I’ll drop it at the UPS store this week. I hope that the Amazon worker who unpackages it washes their hand before handling the next item. So gross.

I bought this litterbox for my new baby bunnies and it works great ! They like the size because bunnies love to eat and do their business at the same time. I like the high sides because they don’t kick their poops everywhere when they jump out of the box !!

This is a perfect litter box for our one small cat. The frame does a good job containing the litter, yet it’s still very easy for me to clean on a daily basis. I have a debilitating chronic illness, so I need easy access due to pain and lack of energy.

I ordered two of these boxes. Although my cats have been using them for a little less than a week, I am already extremely pleased with the lack of litter scatter. Before these boxes, my Dustbuster worked overtime to clean up the kitty litter mess.
Several reviewers mentioned that the top doesn’t clip together very well and comes loose easily. My boxes are located underneath a folding counter in my laundry room, so I have to slide them forward when I clean them each morning. I have had no challenges with the top coming loose from the box. As long as I grab the rim of the box, it slides back and forth very easily.
Scooping is easy. I don’t have to remove the top and am able to scoop them clean.
I do wish the boxes were a little larger. If the company ever makes a larger version, I would like to be one of the first to know. My cats are accustomed to bigger boxes. They are, however, able to use these boxes just fine. I cannot mark down for the size; because, when I ordered them, I was aware they were smaller than the previous boxes.
I would order these again. They are a great buy.

Just got it today and upon looking at the litter box I could tell that it could barely fit a medium size cat and would be best for a small cat or a kitten.
I also noticed that the shield part is very flimsy and has a very poor latching mechanism to attach itself to the litter box.
The litter box does have a good depth though.
As for the appearance I think the shield should be the same color as the box it just looks weird with them both being two different colors.
Over all it’s not the worst litter box I’ve had, but it isn’t the best neither.

Its just big enough for our Kittens. Material is not very solid – it bends easy. I wonder if it even will hold for the next month until the kittens will need something bigger and for sure stronger. The top is also not fitting perfectly and some litter gets throughout the space in between …
Would not buy it again. Spend some more money and get better Quality…

This is a very standard litter box. It does the job that it supposed to do fine. The raised sides help to keep some of the litter from getting kicked around, it’s fairly sturdy for plastic box, it’s a nicer looking one. My biggest gripe with it is that the corners are rounded. Makes it really difficult to get into them and clean out clumps of litter or poop properly. The box isn’t particularly large, but I have two really average sized adult male cats and they use it just fine. If someone had a larger cat it might be bit of a squeeze for them. Definitely no Maine coon sized cats. I’ve had the box for over a year now and it’s holding up just fine so I figure it was money well spent.
