This is the best cage I have ever purchased. My ecletus parrots loves it. It was simple to put together, took me about 45 minutes once unpackaged. All the screws and holes lined up perfectly. Very easy to clean and sturdy. I would definitely recommend this cage. It would be perfect for medium size parrots with lots of room, or a couple cocktails etc.
I will be purchasing two more for my congo Africa grays.

Only negatives with this cage are how low it sits (our parrot can’t see out the window as well as with her old cage), and the difficulty in finding same size replacement bowls (impossible). I was afraid that the hollow bars would be weak, but they are plenty strong enough for our Goffins Cockatoo, and I love how much easier it is to roll compared to the heavy solid bar stainless cages. If I could get it with slightly narrower bar spacing I’d buy 2 more for my conures.

Got the large size, for a new African Grey. So she’ll have plenty of room. Old cage I had for 20+ years was a better design, but I wanted to go larger and stainless, which would have been around $3K going with the old brand I used. Can’t swing that amount easily, so I settled on the Prevue.
Really wish the feeding dish doors were higher up, and on the side instead of the front. Doing so would have allowed the front door to be much larger, for easier cleaning. And would be easier to get at the food dishes.
Captured nuts attaching the upper and lower panels are backwards in my opinion. Will collect dust/dirt/food as they were implemented in the design. No easy way to reverse them. Would have been better for the screw head to be on the top. Since the captured nut is on the top instead, it will collect debris in the cavity. Best design would just have single panels, so you would not need to screw 2 together to make one side.
Stainless frames are a bit thin. Do not torque the screws down very tight or you can end up bending the frames. If I see them loosening over time, I will just blue loktite them as needed.
Cage came with 2″ wheels. They didn’t roll as easily as I could wish for, and the lever lock mechanism on them sticks out enough that I’m pretty sure I would be cursing them after stubbing toes on them. So I replaced them with 3″ casters with the typical side locks. Cage rolls much better now and with less toe catching potential. The larger casters raised the cage up about an inch (which is good in my opinion). And frankly, they look better and more appropriate in size relative to the overall cage size.
If contemplating doing the same, note that the cage comes setup to use M8 metric threaded casters.
Finally, is not a very good way to attach hanging toys to the top. Using typical threaded links to attach, you will find the links rub against the bottom of the upper cleanout tray. I will probably add a spacer to the side rails the tray rest on, to raise the tray a bit. Might be a good idea to raise it anyway for the bird, as it is a tight enough distance as designed that a bird could easily get their toes wedged in there between the tray and bars.
All in all, it’s a decent cage for the price point in stainless. Could be better.

I just finished assembling this. When I unboxed it I was a bit nervous because many of the cable ties were broken and there was a loose bolt in the box. The protective plastic inside was a bit torn. However, the cage panels were all straight and rust free, and all parts were there (including courtesy extras). This was easier to assemble than most Ikea furniture and can be a one person job. The casters are very nice. Took me about an hour to assemble and the instructions were clear. Definitely a good value. I don’t have a bird in it just yet to assess how easy or tough it will be to clean, but the locks, slide outs and doors all function smoothly.

I wanted a large stainless steel cage for my GCC because stainless just holds up the best. This cage is perfect. It’s large, cleans up easily and I really like the top part and additional places to hold food bowls.
**SAFETY WARNING**
I want to emphasize that the bar spacing listed on the ad is 1”. However, the bar spacing throughout all the sides of the cage are not actually 1”. The bars on the side are smaller at 5/8”. The bars on the bottom of the cage though are 1” as well as the top grate that goes over the play top. 1” is too large for a GCC. For this reason, I removed the top grate completely- I wanted my GC to be able to play on the flat part anyways without climbing over the bars. For the bottom grate, I keep it covered with newspaper. I feel very confident in these safety measures however I do not necessarily recommend this cage for a small bird due to the bottom grates being 1”. They are big enough that a small bird could fit their head through and get stuck. Unless you have means to keep the bottom grates covered, this would not be ideal for a small bird.

Looks good. My orang-winged Amazon adapted quickly. She had a similar cage and within 24-36 hours was moving all around and at home. O e review mentioned the bowls to low. I have various perches all over the inside of the cage and she does fine getting to both her water and food.

Purchased this cage size LARGE 2+ years ago for my Cockatoo.
It was GREAT and I still LOVE it. Been shopping for another SS cage for my conure and it has been a hit/miss. So this EXACT same cage in SMALL is NOW on sale! I was SO excited because I love the Large one for my cockatoo and have been wanting the small for my conure. It arrived and I was EXTREMELY disappointed! The quality has gone WAY DOWNHILL!!! Super flimsy, dents on the door from where the latch meets, dented leg, flimsy latches, ALL around disappointed. I reached out to Prevue and they have me on IGNORE which is very strange because they have always responded to my requests in the past as I have several travel cages of theirs. Suffice to say, I returned it and will not purchase from them again. Very sad indeed. Sorry Prevue, you have lost me a customer. You need to not outsource to China, their quality SUCKS.
