Es el 3er Módulo de contactos que adquiero. Protección confiable; yo lo uso como protección suplementaria despues de un NOBREAK, por lo que es recomendable que cuenten bien con su hilo de Tierra y Neutro, para mejores resultados. Como siempre, un 10 a la marca.

Yikes, $1,500 totally fried because I didn’t buy one of these little things! With the lightning strikes so common and electrical spikes frequent here in FL these are a must have item to protect everything electric in your home. Several years ago I moved my iMac to a different area (had to hard wire due to poor ISP) and didn’t have one of these handy. Completely forgot that I needed to buy another one until lightning struck a dogwood tree next to my driveway and ran along the internet cable and the electric line, and completely smoked my iMac. :'( The tech who looked at it said I was lucky not to have a fire. When turned at an angle you could see the smoke residue on the inside of the front glass. The hard drive couldn’t be salvaged at all so I lost everything on that computer!! Now I never hardwire to the internet cable, and every outlet has one of these.

There’s little to say when a product simply works. Because i always unplug appliances not in use, the need for surge protection is minimized. The longest anything stays plugged in are the distiller and bread machine. They’ve not been tested, and here in Quebec, the power goes out or browns out habitually. So far so good though.
