I installed this unit in a 3rd gen 1997 4runner. I previously had a single din unit so I went and bought the stock brackets and it fits perfectly. I installed the 1300 and 1400 in my other vehicles which I really liked and so far I’m digging the 1500. Bluetooth and apple car play work like a champ and the sound quality is great. User interface is pretty straight forward. I plugged in a backup camera just to test and it worked fine. This is a great bang for the buck!

Just completed the install on a 2011 Toyota Sienna and everything works great. The sound was very good right out of the box, Bluetooth was very easy to set up and Apple Car Play is great. Also thanks to YouTube I was able to use the factory back up camera.

My son installed this unit in my 2007 Ford Explorer. The unit looks nice and the numbers and letters are large enough to see clearly. The sound is great, both stereo radio and telephone. I am so very happy with this unit and recommend it. My son said it took about an hour to install.

The only issue I have with this unit is that parking guide lines have to be manually turned on every time reverse is engaged, although the camera view does come on automatically. Would be nice if the lines also came on automatically.

When using the blue tooth it only sends sound to the front speakers. Not a huge fan. Otherwise it’s a nice head unit, easy to operate. Boot up is a bit slow.

Everything works except the backup camera. Called pioneer helpdesk and they were unable to get the video to show. Wired – and + to rear bulb, red wire to violet and white (reverse wire), video to rcIN, messed with settings per help desk, still just a black screen. Will be returning it. Tried two new cameras and no luck.

I like the 1500 a lot better internal parts for audio BETTER
and the softwares up to date it sounds phenomenal with my Sony 4 channel high resolution amp have a separate power base amp for the 10 inch sub I’m finished once again grade A
