This dinning table has been by far one of the best purchases I have made thru Amazon! It has surpassed my expectations. It was easy to assemble, color as described, not light weight, excellent quality, zero scratches and resistant. Dinning table, bench, chairs, tabble runner, mats and center piece were bought separately to make it my own style!

Quality: decent, there are some scuffs and weird parts where things look odd together

Assembly: horrible, took me 3+ hours and it was missing some screws but I just put it together as is since I don’t plan on using heavy things on the table
OVERALL: The color looks washed out and ugly, there were some screws missing on the bottom and it was hard to assemble towards the end. I would return it but I don’t have a box to put it in & I don’t want to put in the work to buy a box. Seriously, save your money, it costs way too much & has some weird scuffed up, damaged parts.

It’s unfair to drop a rating because an item is damaged in shipping, as that’s typically a shipping issue, not a manufacturer or seller issue. Mine arrived in great shape, luckily, but there’s issue concerning the finish. It’s thin, like it could really use a few more coats. I’d planned to apply varnish to protect it, but I haven’t had a chance yet, and after only two weeks the finish is already flaking off in multiple spots. That’s honestly disappointing considering it’s a table presumably meant to handle food, and drink, and washing? We’ve been exceptionally careful with it, too — not leaving wet cups on it, keeping a towel beneath dishes, not doing any projects or crafting on it… We haven’t even wiped it down yet, so this really shouldn’t be happening.
Now for details I would have wanted to know before purchasing:
I put it together myself as a 5 foot average strength female. Everything went together smoothly except for a couple screw holes that were angled and took a bit of trial and error to line up properly. When I finished assembly it was on its side. Because of the weight and size, I did need my 10 and 11 year old children on the other side to help me lift it to an upright position. LOL I left out the center bar at the bottom because I didn’t want bother about dust collecting under there, and it’s still very sturdy without it. If it ever seems wobbly, I’ll attach it. It’s a solid, good looking table. I have the Becket Metal X Back Dining Chair, and three of them fit snugly on each side with room for two more chairs at the ends. Aesthetically I prefer the look of three on each side, but functionally my littles prefer extra room, so we have two on each side and on the ends. Photos for both included! 🙂

The table was easy to put together. I did it by myself. It’s solid wood and the finish is outstanding. I saw people complain paper towel will get caught on the wood, but I have no issues as the wood on my table is smooth. There were no dents or scratches when it arrived. There was one table top board that needed to be replaced because it didn’t sit flush but Plank and Beam fixed the issue and sent a replacement immediately. I plan on getting the matching chairs next. I love our new table!
