I love this design. I had held off getting a newer samsung phone becuase they didn’t offer an external sd card past the samsung 5. I was looking for some micro sd cards and though this is even more handy to have it with the insertable sd card into usb. What I didnt realize was going to be so good was how much easier it is now to use this with my phone. It just pops in the bottom, reads and writes quickly. Now I don’t need to pop open the back cover and juggle the little sd card, or worry about it shooting out and getting dirty/lost on the floor – (I ride a commuter train)
The end caps are handy to keep protected. Only design improvement I can think of is to make the caps somehow attachable so they don’t get lost. However, I rather have the sleeker design than some kind of tether.
Construction: These are well built.

Worked fine in my NVIDIA Shield tablet, loading some games on it to run on Emulators. After having issues with tablet, I format the tablet and then try to read the data from this SD card,, and it needs to be formatted. I do it since I had games backed up somewhere else, but the thing only formats as 15.7 MEGABYTES! Counterfeit GARBAGE!!! Will never buy PNY crap again. I’ll go Sandisk or Samsung for my memory card needs, as I’ve never had an issue with them, and using their cards for much longer. Amazon, I would take down this listing immediately as it is a failed card that needs wiping after only 4 months of use, and both Windows and ChomeOS read it as only 15.7 MB after format! Trash!
1/4/2017 UPDATE: I updated the review from 1-star to 4 stars because a PNY rep reached out and gave me very detailed instructions on how to format with a comman dprompt that fixed my big issue with the drive. I will change again to 5 stars if after some time the card holds data and can be read on multiple PCs without asking for a quick format again, but even then, the solution given by PNy took literally 40 seconds and was a breeze. Any issues I had with ONE product of theirs has been swayed towards positive for their quick and precise support of their products.

I got card for my cellphone, but will work with anything that has a Micro SD Card slot.. Fast shipping, good packaging, OEM package inside padded package. Super fast card read/write speeds, protection from everything. I transferred 8GB of music & pics from my laptop (2.0 USB) in less than 5 minutes! The extra cost ($5.00, well worth it if you would us it) adapter allows for OTG (On The Go) file copy/paste without a computer, as long as phone has the micro USB port (same type plug for charging phone). It is well made and has cover caps for both ends when not used. The adapter has 2 connection types, 1 is the micro USB, and 1 is the standard USB (3.0). This allows you to use the 128GB, or any other micro sd card, as a “thump drive” or portable USB drive. I mounted my card inside of phone, so I’m not removing it, but adapter used with any other micro sd card would give this option. Based on description, pictures, packaging, price, brand/model, speedy delivery, I would highly recommend this seller and product.

Perfect memory expansion card for my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Fits easily in the expansion tray and works seemlessly with the phone. I used the adapter tray that came with the card to put the info from my old 32GB card onto my computer desktop. They I switched in the 128GB card and dragged the files onto it. Loaded the 128GB card in my phone and it identified the card and functioned flawlessly with all the apps I had on the external memory.
I know you can go up to 200GB on the S7 but I hadn’t even used half of the 32GB card I had for the past couple years in my Galaxy S5 so I figured I’d save the money and just go with the 128GB.
Great MicroSd card for the Samsung Galaxy S7. Can’t go wrong with the PNY brand. A little cheaper than some of the other more prominent brands but definitely not a cheap generic knock of. I like that it came well packaged with and adapter tray as well. Came in very handy.

These are working great in my Samsung phone. Worked the moment I pushed it into my phone. The speed has been great for everything, ranging from apps to photos. They greatly expanded the memory on my phone. You do have to go into your phone settings to direct the phone to move all your apps and photos to the micro SD card from the phone’s internal memory. Otherwise, the phone will continue to save everything to the phone, which is what happened to my friend’s phone, and then she complains there is not enough memory even though this micro SD was added to her phone. I went into my settings and changed where things were stored and my phone has plenty of space. Do check your phone’s expanded memory limit. My Samsung had a max limit of 64Gig, so that’s why I bought this card. If your phone has a max limit below 64 Gig, this card will likely not work on your phone. So, double check with your manual or the manufacturer’s website for maximum micro SD memory capacity on your device. Too bad Apple phones don’t have expanded memory. Can you tell how much I like my Samsung over my Apple?

Uso la memoria en un LG V10 con aproximadamente 65GB utilizados en el par de semanas que he tenido la SD.
No he tenido el mas minimo problema y escribe y lee mas rapido que mi vieja San Disk Ultra UHS 1 64GB.
La recomiendo para alguien que necesite de mucha capacidad y de la posibilidad de grabar videos 4K o abrir aplicaciones desde la SD.
Tengo ya cuatro meses de uso con la SD y jamas he tenido ni un solo problema o inconveniente.

I just bought this memory card to use with the new Kids Kindle that we got. It is the largest mircoSD card that I could find, which is important for loading and downloading everything we want for the Kindle. I’ve never used a microSD card before, so I just bought the largest capacity at the best price, and hoped for the best.
So far, it’s been incredibly successful. We loaded more than 10 full length movies, a ton of family photos, and a variety of apps onto the card. There is still so much space to load more. I’m not sure how much this card could hold, in terms of number of movies, apps, or other storage, but it’s huge. Right now, it seems to hold far more than we need to keep our toddler happy.
If you own a Kindle, especially a Kids Kindle, you need this memory card. If you’re going to get external memory, you may as well get the biggest size available. The price difference is really minimal, and it’s the best way to get the most use out of your Kindle.
