Wouldn’t work when transfer from desk to tv

Excellent replacement for my 7 or 8 year old NVS-290 card (also PNY).
It looses 1/2 star for having a fan (NVS-290 was fanless), but stars
round down.
Honestly, I can’t hear the fan, and the card is still pretty low power
(less than 20W), but I hate fans.
The old card still works perfectly but is no longer supported by
current NVidia drivers. It is still supported by the actively
maintained NVidia legacy driver, but the legacy driver prevents you
from upgraded to the current version of Xorg X11 server (which, in
turn, prevents upgrading various other things to current versions).
So, I sadly have to retire the trusty NVS-290.
That is still _way_ better than my last experience with an ATI card
that got abandoned completely after 2 years.

Easy installation both physical and into the OS. Drivers installed automatically from Windows Update. Worked perfectly when I upgrade from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro without any additional steps.

This is a quiet, solid performer. I have purchased 5 of these in the last year and they have all been working without issue. I like that this card will work on smaller cases as well as full size cases. The NVIDIA software is much nicer than ATI’s and PNY is making a quality product in this card. I will continue to purchase this card for as long as its available and compatible with my new PC installs.

You can game with this card, but I would opt for something that is really designed for gaming and that can handle high graphic content. For most projects this card will do the trick. Bought the card so I could have four monitors for use. I have two integrated DP ports on my Dell system. This card adds the additional two DP ports for adding more monitors. No issues with the Win11 OS. No OS crashes experienced so far.

Great product!
OneLongGroove –
Not a huge power hog, and can coexist in most PCs without a power supply upgrade. It’s a great way to add Tegra cores and display port (DP) to your store bought desktop. Too bad it is discontinued.

I bought this to upgrade from my 7 year old main board graphics. It came with two DP to DVI adapters, which was perfect for my two older monitors that only have DVI and VGA inputs. I saw a review that the fan was noisy, and another that said the person purchased one to replace a card with a noisy fan. I just installed it and the fan noise seems the same as it was before adding the card.
