Specifically bought this for the “5000X” magnification but the microscope does not come with “WF 50X” eye piece lenses which are shown and advertised in all of the pictures. Instead it only comes with “WF 10X” and “WF 25X” lenses, thus, the microscope can only reach a maximum of 2500X magnification. Again, I bought this microscope specifically for the “5000X” magnification, as the products description/title says it has, but does not.
Also, if you have a newer PC and plan on using the electronic eye piece, make sure your PC has a CD drive to install the software and a USB 2.0 port… My eye piece is rendered useless considering my MacBook (like all newer ones) does not have a CD drive nor USB 2.0 ports, only USB-C ports.

Having never used a microscope before I’m very impressed with this unit. The only complaint I have is that the field of view when using the camera is pretty small.

Dificultad para mover la perilla de la platina, dura de mover, se atoraba y de repente se movÃa en retroimpulso, que no permite focalizar el objetivo.
Una parte del soporte de las laminillas de platina sale un poco del empaque de estuche, tal vez a eso se deba que no funcione correctamente.

Got this for son for Christmas, we have used it a lot to look at blood samples for our chickens blood samples to diagnose sickness. This microscope exceeded our expectation.

The media could not be loaded.
 I’m giving it a 5 star review with no prior microscopy exp.. despite being completely satisfied with the camera and phone attachment. My phone weighs down the fitting and I in turn have to hold my phone up to actually not have half of the view blocked, and the image produced by the camera they provided is grainy at best… *So far. Overall it’s been fun..and that’s real footage of my own blood.. other notes… An issue that I’m not to comfortable elaborating on.. is stressing the importance to Learn about microscopy before use…. ~it can be dangerous~ secondly… I came across information on utilizing the oil lense… Luckily before I tried…. Do not get oil on your other lenses ~”you will ruin them as they are not designed to be used with it”~

I was a bit scared to purchase this item because of the amount of people who bought it. Usually I will only purchase an item if I see that it’s been purchased many times. I researched and read reviews for microscopes on Amazon and eBay for weeks before making this purchase. It was packed very carefully and thoughtfully first of all. It worked immaculately! I haven’t tried the 5mp camera since I don’t have a laptop yet but will shortly. But so far so good I am very impressed on well it’s made especially for the price. I will definitely update after more use and after I’ve tested the camera option. Overall I am very satisfied, I do recommend and would most likely will purchase more from this vendor. Thank you vendor!!!

The customer service was great and overall the microscope works well. However I was disappointed that the camera doesn’t photograph the entire field of view. It seems to photograph about 1/20th of the field of view on low power (even smaller on higher power).
