1 yr review: This is a SOLID latch! We have a very particular set up in our home where two swinging doors coincide. We made the decision to latch these doors together as to create a child zone and a no go zone. This has kept out a VERY persistent brute of a child. Gotta love โem!

Years ago we bought a super-nice, expensive large sliding door to our back yard. To this day it still slides smoothly with barely a finger push. But the lock did break and fell apart and we could never find the exact parts to fix it so had to try locking the door each night with pieces of dowel, etc. Never really much good or very easy. We’ve now installed this new lock and its really REALLY nice! Slides in and out of the locking piece and even my 92 year old mom with bad arthritis can use it easily. Great lock and is far stronger than it looks.

Pretty Straight forward– just a lock that’s easy to install & easy to use. Only giving 4/5 stars because it came damaged in shipping and was out of it’s original packaging.

I used these to lock my murphy bed while in the frame. There is some movement but not enough for it to fall down.Good quality & value.

ย PROS:
-got here fast
-very high quality
-works on in-swing AND OUT-SWING doors
CONS:
-install is a little tricky if you want the latch to drop in smoothly
-screw that come with it are not what you need to properly secure this to the door and frame
EXPLANATIONS:
I would definitely buy these again. My landlord refused to install deadbolts so I installed these because my front door is in-swing and my back door is out-swing. I wanted something to match but that would also be study like a deadbolt. The key is getting better screws. The screws that came with the prouct are size 6 (diameter) and are one inch long. I was looking for home security, so I got the longest screws I could find based on the width of the frame and the door. In the video, I am putting my whole body wight into opening the door (25F, 210 lbs) and NOTHING. I feel so safe in my house now ๐
Side note: youre supposed to use size 6 screws but you can use size 8, its just more finicky because they BARELY fit.

Used on a patio door where the frame is angled so is impossible for conventional style bolts etc , works perfectly, just use longer screws than the ones provided for extra security
