Love it. As a safety measure for doors

We live in the country and have French doors in our basement that I felt needed additional security. We have keyless entry which requires a code, but I felt this still may make us vulnerable, so we ordered the pair of door bars, which were reasonably priced also. Very pleased with the added security, plus the second one we could use on our living room door! Easy to use and remove – strongly recommend as a money saving security measure!

It does not stay put on laminate floors

My mother-in-law lives with us and she has recently admitted that she would use a chair to wedge under the front door handle when we would leave her and go on vacation or travel somewhere. Well upon learning about that, and seeing the damage to the floor caused by the chairs, I searched for a better alternative. These bars are not only easy to use but much more secure than a some random chair. Setup was easy, adjusting the bar to fit under the door handle is also easy and removing them when opening the doors is also a breeze. Now my mother-in-law is feeling more secure when she is to be home alone, whether it’s just for a short day or more. We even use one in the track of our sliding glass door. It’s also helped her with having any anxiety to be home alone. The quality is great and it is also well built with a thick rubber pad on the base. Because it adjusts so easily it can be used on a variety of door sizes.

When pull off the door, the sections may come apart, but very sturdy when on the door. Make sure it’s locked on the door under the knob. Works great.

I bought these for my new apartment after seeing them at my sister’s place. I had trouble assembling them. One of them completely fell apart in the process and I have yet to figure out how to put it back together, but the one that works gets the job done.
