This came in the mail. The glass panes were cracked. Very difficult to put together. The screw holes didn’t line up. Not impressed with how low the bulbs are either. This is not what I thought it was. I have no choice but to use it because my sons bearded dragon needed a home asap as he was related from California. I would not recommend this product.

I’d start to say, if you’re looking for a nice looking large tank for anything other than a snake, this is a great option. It looks good, has built in light fixtures, and isn’t really that hard to assemble like the other reviews say. however, any reptile owner will tell you snakes need a tank with a strong lid that LOCKS. this one comes with one lock that only fits on one side of the whole huge tank, meaning that my snake could just easily push up the top and go for a little adventure whenever he pleases. So far I canot find an option to contact the company to purchase an additional lock and am looking into diy solutions. Additionally, substrate gets caught in the area where the front panel fits into the bottom, which I was able to fix but if your reptile is a burrowing species or you use sand substrate that could be a cause for concern. what can I say though, you get what you pay for and you can’t really beat that price tag, just be prepared for a project.

Front plexiglass is extremely wobbly and thin. You have to buy bulb covers as well or risk burning your reptiles if they touch the bulbs and with the vents being in the same place trying to screw in a cover is impossibly awkard. You need to have command hooks instead of suction cups because it wont stay on anything but the wobbly plexiglass. The wires for the lighting is completely exposed and the option for a timer for the lights is not going to happen because it’s all one circuit (which is fine if you don’t plan on using a timer at all). The thin balsa wood used to hold the top plexiglass pops out from the top and bottom after just a few months of the heat from the bulbs that are within inches of it. Do NOT get this if you have to mist it at all because if the temperature drops in the tank while you mist or some of the mist travels to the top of the tank you’re gonna have a shattered heat bulb. And a basking lamp is impossible unless you want to bake your reptile or never close the top lid which definitely built for someone who only opens the tank once in a while as it is just connected by the hinges with no other support. Assembly was simple at least. And the over all size is ok. Value, you get what you pay for and cleaning is a nightmare unless you can stretch your limbs or are willing to take the plexiglass off every time you want to clean it. Also not water safe it come with a thin piece of plastic to protect the bottom from moisture and so far no water damage but we placed a desert reptile in it because of the anti misting set up.

I got it for my two butterfly agamas (cats sneaked in to see it too lol), it was easy to assemble and I love it’s functional and visually appealing design! agamas have now space to run. I think it is an awesome habitat for lizards! probably other small animals too, will definitely buy it again if needed.

It was incredibly easy to put together – took me about 10 minutes – and fully assembled it is still easy to move. I can lift it above my head, empty, and I’m not exceptionally strong. All of the screws, holes, etc lined up and it came with a drill bit! to use with the screws as well as the classic hand wrench thing flat pack furniture has. So everything just went together super fast.
This would only be appropriate for reptiles that are kept on bare bottom substrate – so tile, paper, etc. You do not want to have anything with humidity or soil/coco earth requirements in this terrarium. There’s a thin piece of plexi that is easily removable on the bottom that can be wiped down and cleaned. It reminds me of one of those transparent sheets that you’d use on an old school projector but larger and a bit thicker. It comes with locks to install on the lid but, once again, I have a baby Beardie so I’m not really worried about him opening the lid. Honestly I’m not sure what other reptile besides a Beardie you’d even keep in this. A strong snake could probably escape since they’re so willful and most everything else requires substrate to hold extra humidity.
I have a juvenile right now so he isn’t large enough that the fixtures pose any issues – he can’t get close to the top. I am planning to mount a separate UV tube fixture to the back since I’m a bit paranoid about UVB and making sure he has enough.
My main complaint is that the lights switch off whenever you open the lid, which makes it difficult to interact with your animal. Recommended size for an *adult* Beardie is quite larger than this at 120 gallons. So keep that in mind, the smaller models can’t be a forever home.

To be honest, this is one of the best items I’ve ever gotten from Amazon. If there was anything u could change about it at all, it would be to have it come with an auto shut off and turn on timer for the lights. Aside from that, my ball python LOVES the enclosure. It keeps the temperature regulated and the design is perfect. We did put a child proof latch on it as well, but it really is an awesome design.
