Cobbled thoughts –
Products works pretty well I guess but everything else in my box was a mess because this product leaked all over everything. Even the box was soggy. I would suggest buying this in person and not having it shipped to you so it doesn’t ruin everything else in your order. The product itself is fine as a cleaner but I took stars off for lousy packaging

We used this product a year ago to remove large oil stains left on the street in front of our house by a neighbors Jeep. It faded the spots significantly on the first application and removed them entirely after the second. Recently, contractors left a trail of oils spots all the way down our paver stone driveway. We tried another product because we couldn’t remember the name of this one and the other product did not work. So after searching the house, we found this bottle and ordered a new one and it worked like a charm – no more oil spots ruining our driveway! Again, faded the spots after first application, removed them entirely after the second. Highly recommend!

This is a great degreaser for engines and mechanical parts. No gagging fumes. Quickly and easily rinses with water.

The product itself is great! It cuts through grease easily, I have even used it on my cooking ware to remove grease and on the hood above my stove, it works easily without a lot of elbow grease. Oh, wear gloves and keep the area ventilated, it is very potent and drying to hands.
The problem is Amazon’s shipping. My first shipment made it as far as the local FedEx office and they called to tell me that it had leaked through the box and the box was light as if empty and they were returning it to Amazon.
Amazon shipped me another overnight…same problem, but this one made it to my house leaking through the box. About 2/3s of the product remained, but Amazon really needs to check the screw caps before shipping as mine was loose, also it was not in a bag inside the box like other liquid products I have received. I have a video, I will try to upload.

Ok first: I did have a pretty big issue with the packaging, but I never got around to reporting it. When it arrived, the cap wasn’t totally screwed down, and it wound up leaking enough on itself to make the label virtually unreadable.
But, this isn’t a packaging review, this is a product review. I truly wish I had taken before and after photos of this tub, but honestly I am ashamed that I used it while it was still gross.
Short version: I had a gross tub that hadn’t been properly cleaned in a decade, and now it looks fantastic. Spray it on, let it sit for several minutes, and wipe clean with a sponge. You may need to make a few passes depending on the severity of the mess. Turn on any exhaust fans you might have, or bring a fan in to suck out the fumes because this stuff is strong. Definitely wear a mask if you have a proper one. Otherwise, do your cleaning in small chunks and give yourself plenty of breaks with fresh air. All in all, it took me about 2 1/2 hours to clean this nasty bath tub.
Long, verbose version: I seriously neglected my acrylic bath tub/shower. First out of teenage rebellion, then due to depression in my adulthood. This tub went without a real cleaning for over a decade. The floor of the tub was discolored, and the faux tile pattern of the acrylic walls had that orange stuff in the grooves of it. I am legitimately ashamed of how funky this tub really was, and even more ashamed that I actually showered and bathed in this monstrosity.
More recently, having gotten my life under control, I have tried cleaning this tub. I’ve tried many products, including but not limited to CLR, Kaboom, Fabuloso, and Magic Erasers. I scrubbed as hard and as long as I could, but nothing really worked. I wound up with a few “slightly more clean” spots but nothing genuinely clean.
I just so happened to see someone leave a comment on a post about the woes of trying to clean discolored acrylic tubs, and they said Purple Power did the trick for them. I happened to have some for model kit paint stripping purposes, so I sprayed some onto a particularly bad foot-shaped spot on the bottom of the tub, gave it a few minutes, and sweet baby jesus it just WIPED AWAY with the sponge. Emboldened by my success, I spent my wednesday night cleaning the entire bath tub and shower walls instead of taking a bath like I had originally intended.

Purple Power works great for industrial cleaning. However, the bottle must have opened during shipment because it had leaked out and the label was almost completely unreadable due to leakage.
