We had it professionally installed and had issues with it from the start. It would turn on when it wanted to and now it is completely is dark. There is sound but no picture. We even took it back to the installer to insure that it was connected correctly. Piece of crap. Invest in something of better quality.

This was a great add on to my wife’s 2019 town and country the dome light only comes on or off when you touch the button on the unit so I see a dead battery in the future. Mounting screws are no where near long enough so buy yourself some 1 1/2 in m4 screws before you attempt install. Also some self tapping sheet metal screws really help to hold the mounting plate in place above the head liner. I think you may say some new curse words you didn’t enen know that you knew. But by the 50th time you say the F word you will finally be done! Not to mention how pissed your wife will be about the mess you made in her car. And last but not least she will decide she doesnt like the color of it and then will make you change it. Oh yeah and the leadliner is made of fiberglass so there’s also that to look forward to when your done and you have little fibers in your face and arms from cutting holes in the headliner. HAPPY INSTALL!!!!

Product is huge which is great. Built in IR transmitter is horrendous to the radio and barely works to headphones . I’m looking to replace the factory radio and hopefully can hardwire the AV cables to it and help a bit.
Next, the picture worked great the first day, the the second we could t get it to work. There is a tiny little switch that when the face is closer I guess turns off the unit. That switch needs to be wiggled ALOT to get it to work.
The HDMI worked well, usb doesn’t. Not a huge problem but it’s got a usb therefore it should work. DVD plays good too.
The dome lights don’t work, which is not fun at night.
The IR is less than desirable. And if you have kids that have no clue how to work electronics, you’ll be pulling over every hour or two to turn on a new movie or fix some cable hooked from their iPhone.

I disliked the wiring diagram but it’s easy to trouble shoot . Way easier when there was already a previous install! Love the fm transmitter function. To avoid scratched dvds which already have some trouble playing for some folks try using a usb flash drive with movies already loaded. Overall it’s a pretty good product. We are happy with it , especially the kids!

Had professionally installed to work around a sunroof. TERRIBLE operation. The buttons are not physical buttons but rather some sort of opto-touch button. This makes it really hard to operate. You don’t know if you have pressed the button or not. Only about half the time (or less) will it actually power on when the screen is opened – the depression switch seems to get stuck in the closed position. The other half of the time the images (including their opening screen) shows all pix-elated. DVD playback is all really jittery. This is the case with multiple DVDs, including some that play fine on a different overhead DVD unit that we have. Overall a pretty frustrating experience using this. Too bad a hole is already cut in the ceiling :/ Picture quality, when it actually works, is pretty decent though.

Installed professionally into my 2007 Honda pilot. Fits well and isn’t too bulky. Works as I hoped it would. The only complaint is that there is a constant high pitched buzzing noise that gets higher/lower with the acceleration/deceleration of the car. The install company says this can be filtered out with a separate type of plug that I can get installed later if I want to. Listening to it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker but its extremely annoying for sure. Picture seems decent and the sound (other than the buzzing) is great (hardwired to my car speakers). Would recommend, assuming this buzzing noise gets taken care of next week. I purchased the extended guarantee because this is a cheaper DVD player and I want it covered just incase, hoping I never have to use it though!

Works great BUT I did have to have this professionally installed which costed me $350! You have to pull the whole headliner out and it’s a WHOLE JOB! I didn’t want to risk messing up my new car wires so it was my choice to pay sometime fo do it BUT don’t think this is going to be a simple job, it’s not.
On the bright side.. I’m happy with my purchase because my kids love it! The picture quality is good and the volume is also good. Easy to use and automatically turns off when the cars cuts off so you don’t have to manually do it each time you stop which is nice! HUGE screen so even in a third row vehicle the people in the back can see and hear just fine!
