Bought this for connecting my condenser mic to my computer without the constant sound artifacts .. It does a fantastic job. Also give me the ability to connect my electric guitar to it as well although i have not tried that yet. Great Product .. would recommend

Okay, I’m gonna start with letting you all know that I’m still new at this audio interface, I wanted to go on lives such as Tik tok with good quality sound so that my mic and guitar come out crystal clear. I also wanted to do a few videos to post online also. I found that at first many complained on lives that I wasn’t putting out enough volume, once I figured that out on the mic the problem was that my guitar was not getting enough volume. I have my volume on almost max on my guitar, but although when I’m recording it sounds loud, the finished product when I hit play is not loud at all. Mic seems to be a good volume, but I can’t get volume on my guitar and I’ve fittled with it for hours. Other than that, I enjoy the product, I might call the company and ask for tips on how to get volume on my instrument real soo.

Does what it says. Knobs are slightly sketchy, loose. Only time will tell

Feature set wise this mixer/audio interface is perfect for recording and live streaming music/podcast.

    PROS:
    – Easy setup
    – You can choose to not send PC audio back and only hear it in monitor headphones. Which means clean audio to meetings/ZOOM.

    CONS:
    – For some reason, they have made the switch such that when you do not opt to mix in the PC audio, the recording will be single channel. i.e on the other side of zoom/meetings, they can hear you on only one channel (left/right) depending on which channel the mic is connected.
    – This one I think is a technical defect : When you turn on the phantom 48V, there is a noticeable high pitched noise even when mic is not connected.

    UPDATE:
I got a replacement to check if the defect is specific to the device, but looks like even the replacement has got the same high pitched noise coming out.

I could not find a review on this bad boy to save my life. Not sure how long it has been on the market, but regardless, I have high praises for the PMUX9. This is the most I/O for the price, bar none, nothing else comes close as far as I can tell. It’s kind of a mixer/ audio interface hybrid. Tons of options just on the unit. The 24 onboard effects are cool, I only recently got it haven’t gotten to try every effect for very long, but I really do like the reverb effects, all are good on my Les Paul. The independent granual controls for every separate input and output are super nice. The headphone 1/4″ out has a TON of headroom, I’m rocking 250 Ohm DT990’s and it’s drives them no problem, great both on a separate mic amp and without the amp straight from PMUX9. The monitor out has a ton of headroom on my Presonus Eris E5’s, but for some reason clips super early without my subwoofer turned on, but when turning on sub I can crank it without clipping, might be my own problem, idk. Cannot attest to the mic preamps, don’t have an XLR mic, but the 2 inputs can be made in stereo L & R for one channel, or two mono channels independently. Build quality is superb, solid metal, feels like aluminum (got some HEFT),every I/O port feels sturdy, knobs have a little vague wobble but the feel while turning a dial is *noice*. I got it on a sale with an additional 5 dollar coupon from Amazon, like $80 including tax, an absolute steal IMHO. A heck of an upgrade from a $40 Behringer UM2 and honestly buy this over a Scarlett Focusrite and then use Reaper DAW. That combo is cheaper and higher quality and way more integration abilities.

Has lots of buttons and switches to play with. Very good for entry level recording and maybe even YouTube streaming. Good connectivity and low latency produces a very good sound quality. Good value for money and great functionality for the price.

This product well – except it does NOT work for dynamic mics (there is insufficient gain). It works great for condensor mics (with 48v phantom power), works ok for the guitar input and the line level aux input, and also for the USB input from a PC. But dynamic mics plugged into the mic inputs are too soft and usually not audible. The product does mix the inputs as expected, and adds special effects, and it does feed digital audio to the USB input on a PC, and the quality is good. So you can use it to feed audio recording software on a PC (such as Audacity). In short, this product works well as long as you don’t try to use dynamic mics with it.

I bought this to replace my Scarlett 4th Generation and it has been amazing especially for the price. My Scarlett was over 200 dollars where the Pyle was under 100 and actually does what I need it to do. It’s worth trying it.

Needed a good quality audio interface for recording to PC., Using it as sub deck from mixer to output to computer via USB and to amp/speakers and headphones each with their own volume controls. Simple to setup and connect.

This audio mixer is great and all, but I have 3 main gripes with it.

    1. Firstly, the effects are neat, but the mixer still records the original microphone audio on top β€” so something like the pitch changer, just doesn’t work. You hear a high-pitched (or low-pitched) version, and an unaltered version of your voice at the same time. This is the case for all of the effects. Makes a lot of the effects useless. There’s nothing you can do about it.

    2. Second, you cannot record the microphone and have it not pass-through to the headphones. So if you want to *not* constantly hear yourself, you have to actually turn off the microphone. Meaning if you want to record β€” you have no choice but to listen to yourself feeding back through your headphones.

    3. And lastly, the high, mid, and low frequency nobs ONLY control what goes out to your headphones, meaning if you want to balance the mic for recording β€” you can’t.

You can use point 3 to help with point 2 β€” in that you can turn all the frequency knobs down to lower your mic volume to just your headphones β€” but it doesn’t completely eliminate it, so you will still always hear yourself, quieter at least, but your microphone audio will still be there. To be clear, this also reduces the volume coming from the PC as well, but you can use the PC knob to increase it to counteract it. Other than those 3 issues, it’s not bad at all. Really good build quality, and little noise as well β€” far better than my last USB audio interface.
