good for one day, then it takes forever to dry out. very disappointed. pretty useless after first day.

These worked great for diverting water away from my pool. The only complaint I have is that they take a LONG time to dry out. I’m considering making a drying rack for them so that the air circulates on all sides to help them dry out quicker.

We bought these after our last flood/basement episode (we’ve had a few) to try and curb off water coming in from a specific area. I’m so glad we did, because this time we were able to deploy them easily and they definitely helped keep more water from building up against the side of the house.
A couple of thoughts:
1. Put them someplace cool and dry to store in the bucket but go ahead and open the bucket beforehand. It’s a couple of pull tabs that could frustrate someone if you’re stressed a trying to open them.
2. Make sure you have enough both length and height-wise. These WILL bend a bit if you want them to so you don’t have to plan out in straight lines.
3. Have rocks or something heavy to weigh them down when you lay them out.
Overall, definitely getting more for when we need them again!

Need at least two layers for results. Good value for the money.

Water comes down my drive right into my garage. So I bought this 5 pack of water dams. Worked like a charm! I have physical difficulties so after the rain, these get bloated as they should & that makes them heavy to drag around. But an able-bodied adult could do it fairly easily. But where 2 put them after the rain? They can’t be rolled or folded back up B4 drying & drying takes a Loooong time! Its been 3 weeks & they are still wet. So what I do is, after the rain, I dragged them, 1 by 1, into the garage long-ways, & put them so I can pull in 2 the garage, over them, wheels go 2 the sides, & the dams lay on the floor under the car, long-ways. So now they can take as long as they need 2 dry. But wet or dry, I can always pull them right out. They REALLY DO stop the water. My garage stayed bone-dry. So worth it!

Bought quick dam after Ian a few years ago. This week I got to use the product for Hurricane Milton. They worked perfectly way better than a sandbag. For the money spent , it was well worth it. I maybe getting another bucket, since I’m not sure if the are reusable. All and all a great product!
