I really love these ray Bans 4184’s. I tried on a few different styles in a shop and decided that these were the best suited for me. They are a bit big but I do have a small(ish) head but I manage fine with them. They were £125 in the shop and I purchased these from Amazon for £70. Ordered with free delivery on Friday avo and arrived on Wednesday morning.

Like others, I worried about these being authentic because of the low price. Some said that the lenses were not polarized, and if they’re not polarized there’s no reason to believe they’re UV protected either.
The pair I got today are most definitely polarized, with an LCD screen going completely black if I turn my head 45 degrees.
These seem like very nice glasses for the money and I’m very happy with them. One note is that my other RayBans say “Hand Made in Italy” where these say “Made in Italy” so while these are very nice for the money they’re not identical to the $180 dollar options.

Old trusty. I’ve had several pairs of these over the years. I typically lose them. Great quality, and they fit perfectly. Pro tip: don’t leave them in your pocket if you’re going to be sweating or rained on if you live near the ocean. Salt water destroys otherwise brand new lenses really quickly. I left a pair in my back shorts pocket during a several miles long hike and was drenched in sweat. I pulled them out and the lenses looked like I’d taken sandpaper to them. Otherwise they last a long time. I’m glad the price hasn’t increased much like everything else has. These have hovered right around the $100 mark for many years. Great sunglasses!
