I ordered this mouse back in early 2018, so I got a good year of use out of it. However due to it’s low quality, even with careful use it had some notable issues. Only one big one, but that’s usually all it takes and in this case it was enough to make the mouse unusable.

The first and only non breaking issue I ever had was the side buttons becoming more and more difficult to press. Nothing too bad, but caused a missed input here and there due to the increase in pressure I had to put on the buttons.
But that was really the only issue I was having with the mouse, and it was easily manageable.

For the software, once I figured it out, it was easy to set up. The lack of Mouse 4 and 5 buttons was replaceable by binding some the side keys to it, and I adapted to using them automatically after a short time. The amount of customization allowed me to set up the mouse the way I liked and how I wanted to use it. It was very nice.

The scroll wheel never gave me issues, it clicked when I need it to and scrolled when I wanted it to.

Left and right mouse buttons worked fine, never had issues of cracking or breaking, missed inputs or anything.

The dpi adjustment buttons could be rebound, so I took them off of any bindings to be safe from accidentally changing my dpi settings, so I can’t say much about their quality or functionality.

There are two additional buttons I did not use: one at the top left above the left mouse button, which usually just changed the color scheme of the mouse and worked when used but I never really used it. You can change the bindings to the button if I remember correctly which makes it a nice secondary button on the top left of the mouse, but I never bothered as it’s a little too out of the way (my small hands would have to shift off the right mouse button to go far enough to press it comfortably)

The other button is on the bottom of the mouse, and changes the mode of the mouse. Essentially, this just changes the dpi settings, and the color the mouse to match. I always kept this on the lowest setting as it was plenty high for me on that setting, and you can still adjust it more with your computers mouse settings. Despite it being on the bottom of the mouse, I had no issues with it being pressed accidentally.

There is a panel on the bottom of the mouse, which you can open to reveal 7 weights which you can easily remove to change the feel of the mouse. They all pretty small and the mouse it very light without them, I ended up keeping them all in, and I would still consider it on the light side.

Finally, the tracker is sealed, which is nice at not letting much hair or dust into the mouse, however this also means you cannot open the mouse in any way to clean any dust or hair out of it.

As for what went wrong with the tracker… I don’t know. Today the light just went out and moving the mouse no longer moved my cursor. All buttons worked, but not being able to move the cursor made that sort of pointless.
It’s very odd, it was working completely fine up until it didn’t. I had no warning that it was going to stop working. It just suddenly doesn’t. I rebooted my computer, unplugged and re-plugged in the mouse, and tried my best to clean out the mouse, but since it’s sealed I don’t think I did a very good job.

For the price, I’d say it’s a good mouse. For the sudden way it stopped working, I’d say keep a backup available.(fortunately I keep one for this very reason though the scroll wheel is finicky, but it’s of a completely different brand.)
I honestly liked this mouse and will probably order a new one, but if the same thing happens again I don’t believe I will be purchasing another.
If I can get the mouse working again, while I’ll still order a new one, I’ll come back and edit this review to say so.

Edit: the new one arrived, when I plugged it in I noticed the profiles didn’t save on the computer but seems to be linked to the mouse itself, I decided to plug in the old mouse to use the track pad on my laptop to save the profile on my computer, and suddenly it’s working again. If it dies again, I’ll edit this comment yet again but for the time being I’ll be using the old mouse it looks like with a new one as a backup.

Edit 2: Old mouse did it again only a few hours later. New one is out and will be used from here on out.

It’s got more buttons then any controller. works great left or right handed. Could work great for someone who can only use one arm and wants to game.

I’ve had this mouse for over a year. And game with it daily. I do a lot of FPS games and love having a numpad at my thumb. Selecting items is breeze and i don’t have to move off SADW keys with my left hand to hit numerical keys.

All and all I am happy with this mouse.

It has held up thru intense gaming and smashing buttons hard …and some serious mouse slaps on the desk during rage quits NGL😂

It still functions after all the abuse I’ve put it thru.

The cable is feather light and super flexible. I forget it’s there. It seemed dainty and possibly fragile at first but has held up well.

Its not a small mouse. It comfortably fills my hand. There are removable weights in the bottom to get just the right feel.

My only critiques on design are that I wish there was a bit of space between the numpad keys. They built it so the keys have this peak and valley design to help distinguish which row you are one but the buttons are pretty small and right next to each other.

It is easy to feel what row you are on but can be a thing knowing if you are on the left, middle or right key …. Or pressing two keys at once.

A .25mm gap between keys might have been nice .

Also the wheel is scroll and click but not tilt. That third axis of tilt is almost a standard on mice these days.

The app for the mouse is fairly basic but functional and stable.

There is 5 DPI settings , adjustable via up/down buttons on the top of the mouse and 5 lights to show you your current setting level , the amount of DPI per setting is fully adjustable in the app.

There is also a slider in the app to select overall pointer speed independent of DPI.

Report speed can be set between 250mhz, 500mhz and 1000mhz.

There are several different setting profile storage spaces so you can set the mouse up for different game types ,however, I have not found any way for it to automatically switch profile per a game selection. You have to manually open the app and select a different profile as far as I can tell.

The RGB speed and brightness can be changed in the app and there is a bunch of different predefined patterns such as waterfall, fade, pulse ect.

There is also a button in the bottom of the mouse to quickly switch between some presets.

I have had zero stability issues or conflicts with the driver.

All the buttons are fairly clicky and quite responsive. The top buttons feel mechanical but the numpad does feel like a membrane. I am not sure exactly what is what , thats just how it feels. They could all be mechanical ?? I haven’t torn it apart.😂

All and all its a solid MMO gaming mouse at a $40ish price point.

It has a solid feel to it .

Its not “pro gamer level” but I would describe it as enthusiast level. Definitely above cheap beginner or kid level.

I bought one of these because the game I play supports a lot of options that can be changed on the fly. Before, I would have to be really creative CTRL-1 to CTRL-6, CTRL-ALT-1 to CTRL-ALT-6, etc. Worked but not ideal. With 12 buttons at the thumb, I now have effectively 36 buttons. I think this is a great piece of hardware (so much that I bought another one for my second gaming machine); however, here are a few things might make a difference to people:

The buttons are a bit small, relatively easy to push, and the rear set of six is a bit far back for my thumb. I’m not sure expecting to be able to quickly use any of them in a spit second is ergonomic. In my case, the first row of buttons is easy to use for active gaming use. The rest I use for changing options in the game, and it works great because even I take a moment to find the right key by feel that is fine.

The software a bit quirky. It’s certainly not the worst software I have used, but I did have to play with it a bit to figure out. It gets the job done well enough. There are a lot controls for button mappings, multiple DPS resolutions, polling speed, LED lighting, saving/loading profiles, etc. The macro editor could have been made easier to edit macros, but once you’re done you’re not likely to care about it again.

My only complaint is the software binds only to keys input on your keyboard. Don’t have a number pad? Can’t bind to number pad buttons. Don’t have function keys? Can’t bind them. You’ll need to connect a keyboard that has it, bind them, and then you can switch to another keyboard. This also means you can’t bind to extended keystrokes (F13-F20) unless you have a keyboard with them.

Overall, once things are in place, I love this mouse.

    Background :
+++ I used Razer product for many years (Mices) back in naga Wow edition (2010’s), and it finally gave up a decade later…

    > I then decided to try Corsair high-end mmo mices products….

    – – – 2 years, 3 mices later down the lane, 150/200 CAD $ each, and yet, all majorly deffectives.
Yes, you read that right, they all 3 have MAJOR issues (Ghost clickings, buttons not working anymore, Scroll wheels gave up, Scroll Wheels clicks gave up on everyone of them a few weeks in, Right main mouse button not working, Side button number 5 and 6 not working anymore)
I had it with Corsair… They ARE beautifull mices but NOT worth the price period with a shitty product that won’t last even a year at 220$ tax in Canadian !
Of course, they all gave up slightly after warranty…. 🙁

ZERO longevity and horrible battery lifespan… OH DONT YOU GET ME STARTED ON BATTERY LIFE….
Battery life on the only wireless i bought was 2 days…. even with low poling rate….
I’m very disapointed costumer of corsair !

    NOW, here, Redragon !
    WAOOW !

? Longevity of the hardware itself ? idk, ive had it for few weeks now and everything is just flawless, at a MAJOR different price point… I’m hopefull tho <3

+ Battery life : AMAZING ! lowest polling rate at 125Hz BUT with high DPI to “Cheat” reactivity and my mouse last me 7 to 10 days with heavy mmo (GW2) gaming each nights (3 to 5 hours a night).
+ Even with above “hack” i’m feeling absolutely no input lags on my mmo’s and Sim’s games.
+ Comfort : Absolutely breathtaking. It is simply put, BETTER than ALL the corsairs i bought, it reminds me of my beloved old Razor Naga that lasted me almost a decade !!!
+ Ease of use : PERFECTION…. im actually pretty much a tech savy, i LOVED corsair RGB customisability…. buuut, corsair ICUE is HORRIBLE with keybinds and its FAR from being intuitive… Corsair is awefull ! REDRAGON HECKING NAILED IT. PERIOD.

    – RGB is customisable through software but to a much less deeper degree, still gets the job done tho <3

    * Nit Picking : Redragon, can you PLEASE do an software extra background service available in the settings or something that resides in our taskbar that give us the battery at a glance. No need for constant update, just one refresh per 30 minutes or per hour even ! it would absolutely be neat !!!

All of those shear, beloved candies that Redragon give us, for a fraction of the price of the shitty Corsair products….
    I just can’t believe it.
To be completely honest, i bought it until im less broke and can afford a razer mouse….
I can now afford a Razor mouse, for about a month i’ve been holding on, on buying one ….
Hmmmm im honestly gonna say that i have ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to buy a razer product atm even tho im an Huntsman Elite owner !
It is THAT good… At least, for my needs <3

I love it. I really recommend.

Imma even push it further, IF product longetivity is good (will update this review many months down the line from now) i’ll probly buy Redragon mices exlusively since it is a great product, period.
