ECONOMICS RANKINGS ON AMAZON (AS OF 11 DEC 2013. LOWEST RANK IS CHEAPEST.)
Allergan Refresh: #4, $0.45 per vial
Bausch & Lomb: #2 tied, $0.37 per vial
Blink Tears: #3, $0.44 per vial
Similasan: #6, $0.50 per vial
Systane Ultra: #5, $0.48 per vial
Tears Naturale: #1, $0.33 per vial
Theratears: #2 tied, $0.37 per vial
**note: I found that almost all vials contain fluid that will deteriorate into a hardened gel (due to lack of preservatives) before I could finish using them. They are designed to be disposable after a single use, and you will be hard pressed to get multiple uses that maintain an ideal chemical reaction. As such, these economic ratings are not done by milliliters, but by price per whole vial. So the vials with more fluid in them are not necessarily a better deal. That said, some vials may be designed with an unsatisfactory amount of fluid per vial for even a single use. You decide.
GRAND TOTAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Allergan Refresh: Recommended for evening/nighttime use
Bausch & Lomb: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Blink Tears: Recommended with reservations
Similasan: Not Recommended
Systane Ultra: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Tears Naturale: Not Recommended
Theratears: Not Recommended
Everyone’s eye chemistry is different, and different products will affect each person uniquely. So keep your mind open and be willing to try many things. Consider also: humidifiers, night gels, eyelid cleansers, microwaveable hot pads, sunglasses, and anything else out there.

These eye drops were recommended by my eye doctor for dry eyes and they work great.
Amazon Customer –
These aren’t your usual eye drops. There are lots of products available if you are looking for those. These are more gel like and will provide a protective film on your eye. If you work in a dusty environment these are better than the watery ones. I also use them for flushing, but they aren’t ideal for that. They will gunk up your lashes when left overnight. Not recommended for use with false eyelashes or mascara. I love the vials. It’s so rare to find these vials, most eye drops come in the opaque bottles. I hate those. I use a lot during pollen season and working with dust. But non at other times. With the bottles I always threw away a lot because they don’t last after opening the bottle. These I can use when I need them. I also find the bottles a lot harder to use because they aren’t see through and you never know how much is going to come out and when and how much is left. You have to make sure to twist off the top of the vial, rather than twist and pull. Otherwise you may create a plastic “nose” at the rim. I use a two step process to get the drops out. First shake the liquid down to twist off the top, then turn the vial upside down and give it a tap to move the liquid back up to the top. Then you can just squeeze out a drop. Hold face sideways to allow gravity to drop it into your eye. Also get a magnifying mirror to make getting them in easier. It took me a while to learn that you can put the cap back on. But they recommend you use the product promptly after opening to avoid it spoiling. Give it a few minutes after you apply them before you go anywhere. These aren’t the drop-in and run kind. They will blur your vision for a little while. I hope they will keep making these. I tried other eye drops. Even other ones from the same brand but these can’t be beat in my eyes. (pun intended)
Brittnee –
These are so moisturizing and relieving. The drops are thicker than others and can leave a residue but nothing too bad.
Amazon Customer –
I’ve always bought eye drops bottles that have to be thrown away after a month. Because these are single use vials, I need to use only one at a time and the pack lasts long. Also, the drops are gel so they are very soothing for dry, tired eyes.
cheryl –
My optometrist recomended these eye drops after I complained of dry eyes with my contact lenses. It comes with individual use little plastic containers. The drops initially blur your vision but after some blinking and 30 seconds later it clears up. Definitely does moisturize your eyes.
Refresh celluvisc is costly and useless the single use vials are not so user friendly, so dont buy this drops there are not your moneys worth. –

I use the Celluvisc eye drops along with a sleep mask at night and as needed during the day. These eye drops are a great solution to relieve dry, itchy eyes.

Good

I have dry eyes and these are perfect when you need a little extra lubrication, more than the normal saline drops. It’s kind of an oily but not too oily fluid, so you have blurry vision for a few seconds as it absorbs in, but they really make my eyes for better. Nice and soothing!
Cheryl –
After having eye surgery in my left eye, it started to become very dry, dry to the point where it would give me a headache on the left side of my head. I tried many brands of eye gels and I’ve concluded that Refresh Celluvisc works the best for dry eyes. I also like that it is preservative free and one application lasts for hours. Good product and no more painful dry eyes = no more headaches!! So glad I found Celluvisc!!
