Everything is amazing! only thing is the corner broke during shipping not the glass but the plastic, So the rod isnโt able to screw Into position which isnโt that big of a deal. the top isnโt able to be screwed in without the top being slanted but beside that easy set up and looks great!

We were truly surprised at how heavy this package was, then thought it would probably be broken, having come from China. We were really pleased that it had been perfectly packaged and was intact. It was simple to assemble. I have looked a long time for a product like this. Most of the larger pet cages and enclosures do not give enough visibility. But this is glass, with a fine mesh screen top. The tank has small feet — perhaps 3/4 in. that leave just enough room to slide a heating mat underneath. There are built in passages for electric cords if you want to use a water pump or heated rock, for example. Love this beautiful thing.

It’s overall fantastic quality. Easy to put together and take apart. Locks easily and securely. All tempered glass. Secured structureally really well with metal frame. Holds water if you need it to. And I am personally tickled pink by the top and how it clicks in and out of the top frame; I babysit sometimes and absolutely no children are getting into this thing. ((I’m using this during the winter for my sulcata tortoise that lives 90% of the year outdoors; he’s still outside rn ))

I set the tank up last night. It seems sturdy and well made. The sliding doors do jiggle some but it really doesn’t affect anything. The doors lock and don’t move after being locked. Easy to set up and took about 20 minutes for me because I wiped everything off before setting up. The wire mesh screen top is well made and comes off easily just unlock it by sliding the locking tabs to the side. The suction cups that hold the keys (2 keys) stick well and serve as handles for the doors you just have to add a a small piece of wire or string to attach the key so it is long enough to reach the lock without removing the key from the suction cup or removing the suction cup. The tank arrived a day earlier than expected and arrived in perfect shape no missing or broken pieces. I havent placed my beardie in the tank yet because I need to make sure I have the right heat setup for the tank size first so testing that then I will post an update. I personally love this tank hope my beardie does too. The one thing about this tank is it is going to be a bit harder to keep the Temps right with vents on the sides of the tank and the screen top but shouldn’t be to bad. I would purchase again. I like that it has a place on the side glass to put the wires through. I also like it has the removable screen top and you don’t have to remove the whole top. It also sits on it’s own feet with a little space under it for a heat pad if needed. Plenty of space for the necessities needed for the beardie plus more. Update coming soon….

The cabinet arrived with a small dent on the tabletop, but it was on the underside of the back edge, so it was acceptable.
The boards used are very heavy, making this a robust cabinet. It’s particle board, but the plastic surface area is built to last.
Putting it together was easy; it took about 35 minutes. There are many cam locks, and these cams are made of shiny, heavy metal. That detail is important because cams I’ve used in the past are made of softer, dull metal and often break. None of these broke while tightening them. One thing to note is that a couple would not lock down using the included stubby screwdriver. I had to use a battery drill. You MUST do this carefully because a battery drill can easily destroy cams.
The instructions could be better detailed. There were a couple of sections showing four screws visually, but you needed to use six. They also tell you to use 16 pins for the shelves, but you only need eight. More attention to detail in the instructions would help.
This product lost one star due to the hard-to-lock-down cams and just-OK instructions. Still, I would recommend it.

If youโre here looking at larger tanks you probably already own a pet that is big enough to need a good amount of space, a couple of heat zones, accessories (basking, a hide, feeding, etc), and a budget of a few hundred dollars. So in this review Iโll assume that.
There are several very similar tanks available, and it was hard for me to distinguish between all the features. This one met all my preferences and Hopefully this helps sum up:
– WIDTH AND HEIGHT: 18 inches (sometimes 67 and 85 gallon measurements can be confusing, and this is $100+ cheaper than the 24-inch wide one that is otherwise the same. (If you have $500, a really big pet and also a table or stand that can support 2 ft wide and ~90 lbs, head for the 24×18 – otherwise this is a great midrange.
– It is 4 ft (48 inches) long. (to get a quick idea of this size, stretch both your arms out. And from one fingertip across to about the other elbow is +\- 4 ft.) If you have an adult bearded dragon with accessories this is a really good size for heat zones and for them to move freely – 3 ft long (36 inches) long for a tank to me is quite small, even if it is a lot cheaper.
– It has TWO SLIDING front glass panels – there are double grooves in the front so either panel slides fully over – giving you about 2 ft of access to either end of the tank. If you prefer swinging door(s) this tank is not it.
– This one is a big feature: it is COLLAPSIBLE – it arrives packed mostly flat, AND can be broken back down for storage or transport. The base is assembled already and is 4 ft long by 4 inches tall and water-tight. Then the side, front and back panels (which are tempered glass) come flat and are assembled with corner and center poles
– Two mesh SIDE VENTILATION panels are half-height and so combine with half-glass panels for better airflow. *Note that above 4 inches tall, the tank will NOT be water-tight
– 4-cord CABLE MANAGEMENT port on one side, if you need to run cables inside the tank (I donโt, but Itโs there if you do)
– Metal mesh top with plastic outer frame. The frame itself is screwed in to the corners of the tank (for stability since it is assembled from pieces), but you can remove the mesh with latches. The top is not hinged, so this would be for cleaning, etc
NOTE ALSO: Get lamp stands if you donโt have them. The mesh in the lid is metal, but the outer frame of the lid is PLASTIC – so youโll need lamp stands to keep the lights up off the lid so the edges donโt melt. Plus, even though you wonโt be opening the lid much, mercury vapor bulbs are super delicate (and also $$$) so should be moved/jostled as little as possible.
This tank is really ideal for a single adult bearded dragon. For a pair, the minimum size would be 80 gallons (40 per pet) so youโd want the 24โ wide tank
If you are a new bearded dragon owner (I donโt know about other pets), be sure to check the wattage of your full spectrum UVA/UVB lights to make sure youโre getting adequate heat down to the bottom of the 18 inch-tall tank on the cool side, and have a climb or basking area that your pet can get within 6-12 inches of the heat on the hot side and it is still around 105 degrees. So a basking area that is 8-12 inches off the floor.
I have the tank set up and just need to put accessories in before Jasper gets his new home, and Iโll update with pics of my handsome fellow!
