Lloyd Guiberteau –
These feel good and sound great. They give a crisper sound.
Amazon Customer –
Nice tone, nice feel, and they seem to resist corrosion and breakage.
Kelly S. –
These came on my 000 Martin and I love them. I like the texture, sound and color (like a tungsten gray.
Thomas E. Martin –
They are worth a try, all depends on the combination of instrument, strings and your playing style. General characteristics; long lasting, and a good feeling set of strings. Like, they don’t feel cheap, but they are relatively inexpensive. I also like that they are all silver, a different look for most. Most folks play bronze – Music addict
rural ontario –
arrived quickly…. like them so much , I bought more …
A. –
The combination of tone and durability can’t be beat! Way better than bronze strings.
Bob G –
Strings are very nice sounding, and play easily. The sound with my cedar top guitar is amazing. Will continue to use these strings on this guitar. Usual are bronze 20% on other guitars.
Sean –
I used Martin strings almost exclusively for three years, but recently they have failed in bizzare ways. That said, it’s hard to beat the sound of Monel strings.
Mescobar –
These work perfectly on my Gretsch Gin Rickey! I wish Martin had better packaging though. If I buy 3 sets, it doesn’t mean I want to use all of them at once. Each string comes in a paper envelope, and all 3 sets are opened when you open the outside wrap… probably to save like $0.10. Could be improved.
In terms of longevity, the strings really last and they are sturdy. I don’t mind when they go a bit dull, because I prefer a dark sound. Even when the brightness decreases with use, they still sound and feel great! They don’t rust very easily. I only changed them because I was giving my guitar a setup. For the record, I’m a professional musician. Best strings I’ve found.
margaret mary hunter –
Good quality as advertised.
J.D.B. –
I have been using the same brand for years.
They’re fine but they’ve become boring.
I’m glad I tried this for something’s different.
They take a day or so to settle in but then I started getting a very nice sound. They sound like a layer of protection has been taken off; and they feel like that also. Try some!
I like them and will buy more!

Las uso para mi Martin DRJR y me encanta el sonido que le da, hace que se sienta como un guitarra enorme con muchos bajos pero excelente definición, resalta ese sonido maderoso pero al mismo tiempo da una sensación de guitarra vintage. 100/10
