I recently upgraded to this keyboard, and it has completely transformed my typing experience. This keyboard is nothing short of a typist’s dream come true.

The first thing that struck me is the build quality. It’s solid, durable, and feels like it can withstand years of heavy use. The keys have a satisfying tactile feedback, making typing a pleasure. It’s perfect for anyone who spends a lot of time at their computer.

The key switches are exceptionally responsive, resulting in faster and more accurate typing. Whether you’re typing up documents, coding, or just chatting with friends, this keyboard is a joy to use.

The backlighting is a fantastic feature. It not only adds a touch of style but also makes typing in dimly lit environments a breeze. You can adjust the brightness and choose from various colors to suit your preferences.

The keyboard is also versatile, with programmable keys and shortcut options for improved productivity. It’s compatible with both Mac and Windows systems, making it a versatile choice.

One minor drawback is that it can be a bit on the pricier side, but the quality and performance more than justify the investment.

In conclusion, if you’re in search of a high-quality keyboard that elevates your typing experience, this one is worth every penny. It’s well-built, highly responsive, and a pleasure to type on. I can’t recommend it enough!

After having this keyboard ONLY 2.5 months, the silkscreen is already coming off.
Dunno bout you, but once the silkscreen wears off the keyboard becomes more problematic for my typing.
Dunno why it took so long to think of it, but using clear coat nail polish should protect it from wearing off.

This is a common problem for backlit keyboards, they’ve all suffered from it but this is the worst. I’ve never seen anything wear so quickly.

Look at AWSED keys compared to the Q or R… really bad

Great price, otherwise the keyboard works as expected. No tactile feel, tho.

some keys travel way better than others, the ‘back’ key on my unit is particularly unpleasant to press, you can feel there is ridge somewhere that stops it being pressed down smoothly. Not a great keyboard, but I didn’t pay much for it. For casual gaming, it works fine, however would not recommend it if you use it for work.

If not all keyboards are ‘equal to’ each other, this was definitely a ‘greater than’ all other backlit keyboards I have tried on my Linux system. To begin with, several of the others I have tried were designed specifically for Microsoft or Apple devices and any supporting features or “drivers” were only available on those systems. While most would retain the basic functionality of a keyboard, (i.e. you could type the characters on the keyboard into the software of your choice), some would not. My prior keyboard cost well over $40.00 on sale but the led feature was unavailable without enabling it deep in the system through a command line code using XSET. The keyboard would then light up but the numerical keypad was disabled…

There are NO such problems with this keyboard in Linux. Just plug it in and begin using it after your computer boots. (I’m old school I guess, I always plug any input devices prior to booting so I can not attest to it being “hot swappable”.)
The keyboard looks great when lit and the characters are easily discernable while not being to large and “garish”. The size of the illuminated letters on each key are aesthetically pleasing and in well lit situations does not require a backlight to determine the which character/key you are pressing but are still not quite as clear as a non-lit keyboard with printed characters in high contrast. This effect is the same for all backlit keyboards I have tried so far and appears to me to be the limitations of the current materials available for molding the plastic keycaps in a light dispersing plastic. The optional “breathing” effect is nice but I will seldom use this feature. The “sleep” function I have not yet discovered how to initiate on my system. The accompanying “User Manual” is sparse on any instructions with the exception of a small list of key combinations for using the FN + Function keys, (F1-F12), to control the multimedia functions of most operating systems and how to control the led keyboard itself.
The light function of this keyboard is “onboard” eliminating the necessity of any extra operating system driver or software support.
The keys have a nice tactile feel to them and are positioned well for extended use without discomfort. The board itself, while lightweight, has a substantial feel which leads to an impression of quality surpassing other keyboards I have tried which cost much more.
If you are looking for a well built but inexpensive backlit keyboard, I feel that this is a very safe investment for almost anyone.
There is one more caveat, I am not a gamer so I can not attest to how well this keyboard would function as such. However, if you are firing off a quick email to your mother, or beginning the next great American novel …

The main reason I bought this was because my keyboard keys are going and I do a lot of typing at work. But for some reason some keys just miss, and it’s not that the keys arent working but they just need a little bit more pressure, which is hard because I type really fast. But when I tried it for gaming, it was sweet to pressure press the keys. So this is not a fast typing key board but it great for those shooter games, and the lighting mode are awesome too.

So I had a Rii keyboard and the keys 0/p/l/m/. went out. Had no idea why and I tried everything to do a quick fix to no avail. I had been pretty happy with it except that it was kinda loud as far as the clackety clack of the keys as you were typing. made it very hard to do any typing and not have EVERYONE know that you were typing something. Anyway, because I was pretty happy with it I got another one…this one. and I am thrilled with it. The keys are so quiet. Its awesome. I also have a rainbow mouse that changes color along with my earphones (Razor…yessss) the keyboard doesn’t shift color but that is quite ok. Its lightweight and I can adjust it to fit my typing style. I also game and my wrists don’t hurt with this keyboard.
The wrapping was a little weird, but there was no damage to the box so I didn’t worry about it. It was plug and play.
    it is USB.
Even though I’m not a big rainbow fan the colors are vibrant and its pretty cool so everything matches. Yay.

Cheaply made trash that barely lasted a week before multiple keys stopped working, this is ridiculous.

I have been wanting a backlit keyboard. The old one, not backlit, while worked had several letters wore off the keys. This was a reasonable price. The keys feel just right for my finger strokes. There are quite a few key short cuts built into the board. Several of them are already proved useful to me. I do not play games on my computer but gave gaming a 5 .
