This is a nice protective cover for my E Bike battery. It should protect the battery and the frame from rock chips and damage. The Velcro is very strong and aggressive and holds the cover snugly to the frame. I’m not certain about the claim that this will extend battery life in coder temps. I think it’s one of those claims that is hard to prove or disprove.
It appears to be of quality material and manufacturing. I think the biggest benefit of this might be its ability to keep the battery dry in the event you get caught in a rain shower while out riding. My EBike manual warns about battery and electronics failure should they get wet. Warranty does not cover water damage. At the price point of $17.99 this is a great value and a bit of insurance against battery damage.

I did order this to cover and protect the battery on my Gotrax e-bike since riding on the gravel and even the regular street will cause all kinds of flying objects to hit and scratch the battery of the bike. The cover is made of neoprene with 2 inch wide, 16 inch long Velcro strips for secure enclosing of the battery. I think it is a good way to protect the investment.

I own a fat tire ebike with downtube in frame battery. In the winter I try to get out whenever possible and even though I try and avoid wet roads and puddles it is virtually impossible to avoid it totally in winter. I don’t have a front fender on my ebike so therefore inevitably get some spray on the bottom of my downtube. This ROCKBROS Neoprene Ebike Battery Cover fits around my downtube and protects it from wheel spray and rock chips. I put this cover on upside down (as shown in one image in the listing) with the Velcro facing up and this way the frame is totally protected by the cover. If I place the cover down (with Velcro on the bottom) the Velcro will get sprayed and wet and I prefer that the cover gets wet instead of the Velcro. The neoprene cover is water resistant and can easily be wiped clean with a wet cloth.
The listing claims ‘Extended Battery Range in Low Temperatures’ which would be great but I have no evidence that this cover keeps your battery insulated and warm enough to prevent it from being effected by the winter cold. It might keep it a little bit warmer than if it was exposed but in my opinion probably not enough to extend the range. This is not a big issue for me as I primarily ordered it to protect the battery and bike from dirty salty spray and stone chips – in which it does a good job. Any warming effect it provides is just a bonus.
The Velcro is some of the strongest and most aggressive I have ever used. Once attached the Velcro is very difficult to pull apart – which is not a negative. There is no way that this Velcro will ever become detached by itself.
Overall, if you want to protect your ebike battery and downtube from water, spray, salt and stone chips then this cover is for you. This cover is big enough to cover even a large downtube and in frame battery on an ebike. Highly recommended for that purpose.

I have been debating on getting something that would help protect the battery from the weather, when I had the opportunity to try this battery cover, I thought I would try it, I am very glad that I had. Made from durable neoprene material, this cover provides excellent protection for your e-bike battery during outdoor rides. It effectively isolates the battery from external elements, such as dirt and debris and water. With its stylish look, easy-to-use design and sturdy construction, the ROCKBROS Ebike Battery Cover is a practical addition to your e-bike accessories collection, enhancing the lifespan of your battery and keeping it in optimal condition. By preventing temperature fluctuations, especially in colder conditions, the cover could contribute to improved battery efficiency. This, in turn, could lead to a slightly longer range compared to riding without the cover, particularly during rides where maintaining consistent battery performance is crucial. However, the exact increase in range would still depend on various factors such as riding conditions, terrain, speed, and rider weight. Would recommend even just for the protection the cover provides, now I won’t have to worry about water seeping into any battery connections.
