This bell is excellent. It’s produces a loud clear chime, and doesn’t take up much room on the handlebar. I like that it opens on a hinge mechanism so you don’t have to stretch it over the handlebar. My only complaint is it does not have an opening or channel for the brake cable housing to pass through, at least I didn’t notice one. I passed the brake housing through anyway and tightened the screw. It didn’t seem to hurt anything.

When shopping for a bell, I wanted something inconspicuous. This thing checks all the boxes. It’s loud without being obnoxious but also discreet, fitting nicely between the grips and brake lever. It’s clearly quality made and something I’ll have for years. Would definitely recommend to others.

I would not say this bell was an expensive bell. A few others, even products made by the same company (Rockbros) were a few dollars more, but this particular bell was competitively priced at the high end of the range at about fifteen bucks. I had bought a cheap bell for six bucks and it did not work. A waste of money. I have found on Amazon that the old saying is true: you get what you pay for. Often the price indicates quality, and especially if the reviews back up the quality of the item. The bell is an unusual ring design, which functions physically like the old triangle dinner bell on the ranch porch. Yet it is tiny an takes up no room on the handlebars. Highly recommend it if you need a bell. I like using a bell on my bicycle: it has a friendly sound that is loud enough without being annoying to pedestrians, expecially if you smile and greet them as you pass.

This is an awesome Bike Bell, perfect for what I was looking to add to my mountain bike that I also ride around in the city. It is the best of both worlds because it is light weight, doesn’t rattle, looks cool and sounds clear as a bell (literally).
Very easy to install and comes with a small allen wrench to help get it locked in place. Would highly recommend!

Out of the box this bell sounds waaay better than the ROCKBROS fake copy of the Spurcycle bell. In fact its clear, bright, loud, sustaining & fairly high-pitched sound is incredibly similar to that of the Spurcycle (which is definitely something I’ve never heard from any other bell…not that there aren’t other bells–like those from Crane–with different high-quality sound signatures that can do the job as well as a Spurcycle). It even sounds clearer/louder than my wife’s Knog Oi Luxe which is clearly what this ROCKBROS bell was inspired by (though I wouldn’t call it a “fake” like their Spurcycle version clearly is).
Unfortunately the inside diameter of the plastic housing isn’t quite big-enough for a 31.8mm bar. Therefore it deforms when forced onto a bar this large even w/o a thin shim that might be needed to keep it in place. Bolting just snug-enough to the bar doesn’t fix this issue either. The result of this deformation is that it changes the bell’s ring tone into a feeble version of what it sounded like in-hand or on a smaller diameter bar (I tried it on an MTB bar).
5 stars for the great sound at a great price and for a unique low-profile design that isn’t an exact copy of the Kong Oi, but 2 stars deducted for claiming it works on 31.8mm bars.

This is exactly what I needed. I wanted a small bell for towpath and gravel trails. It fit on my larger drop bar section and works fine. Cost effective solution for sure. Rockbros always makes a solid product in my opinion for less money. Would buy this again for sure.
