Very easy to use, worked perfectly. Using for a friend with dementia who forgets he’s eaten. I put it on the freezer door to prevent him trying to cook frozen stuff. That way he can only eat what’s in the fridge.

This was a ‘saver’ as my freezer was always being left open a bit. I would find it open in the morning knowing it was that way all night. But this lock is perfect. It works so well. Easy to open and easy to lock. Also can be left in ‘open’ stage during the day. Very happy with this purchase!

Très simple à mettre en place et à utiliser. Double face déjà collé et de bonne qualité.
On peut laisser déverrouillé quand bébé n’est pas les parages, et verrouiller facilement et rapidement grâce au petit bouton.

Refrigerator had a problem to where it didn’t shut all the way/ sometimes will open after closing, bought this to keep door close and it works.

I did not buy these for their child safety features, but instead to help keep the fridge and freezer doors shut in our extra garage fridge. We had an incident where our teen did not fully shut the freezer door (didn’t discovery it into next day) and had to throw out a bunch of melted food. Also, since the garage fridge is older, sometimes the doors didn’t seal tightly and the doors would be open a bit or not fully closed… These give us piece of mind that the doors are shut tight. Also, they are super easy to use, even one handed. I’m glad I ordered! Added benefit it’s that they look decent (not like some big baby lock is on the fridge).

Ok so this gets a 5 star review because its still working!!!!! My grandson is almost two cane open everything! doors locks you name it. we even have child saftey locks on outlets and he removes them we have had several kinds even used monkey tape to cover them up and he went around that. So saying that these locks are still working says a lot he has been trying to figure them out but hasnt quite figured out things so these get a raving five stars

These fridge locks work really well, feel sturdy and are fitted quickly and easily. Not sure how easy they would be to remove again if required due to the strong adhesive pads that attach them. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought a home that included a refrigerator, the previous owner had painted it, and the paint made the seals on my fridge and freezer doors not stick well. Its practically new looking otherwise, and no other issues. I did so much research into replacing the gaskets. They aren’t made anymore and the universal ones would cost at least $150. I installed this double pack as soon as I received it. PERFECT SOLUTION! EASY TO INSTALL. I said to my friend, I am way too happy about my freezer door staying shut finally lol..I was thrilled I don’t have to shell out 700 to 1000 for a new one now. So grateful I found these!

Added this to a freezer that often times would not keep the door closed due to the bee frames of honey we had in it. This solved the problem of keeping it closed until ready to open it by someone that is old enough to open the two locks on it.

I don’t have a baby, or even small children. What I do have are two refrigerators that have the doors pop open (and slightly ajar), unnoticed. I’ve set the leveling feet, and cleaned the gaskets, but it still happens every once in a while. Considering it ruins large amounts of food, it was time for a better solution – the SAFELON 2-Pcs Baby Safety Fridge Lock (White).
I got two sets of the SAFELON locks, for all four doors of two refrigerators. Installation is as simple as cleaning the surfaces, peeling off backing paper from the foam tape, and sticking on the lock pieces. My only advice is this: for one of the locks, I positioned the longer, cabinet-side piece a little further back. My thought process was that this would keep a tighter seal at the door. While it does work in that way, the problem is that the lock did not always engage – while the pins would go into the door-side receiver, it would take a firmer push to get it to fully engage. There are reasons why you’d want to do it this way, but you’ll need to train your household to do it properly. The “easier” installation just has you place the cabinet-side piece to be positioned where the latch is fully engaged when the gasket makes contact with the cabinet. The locks do stick out quite a bit from the fridge. If your fridge is in a deep recess, make sure that you have a couple inches to clear the lock. Actuating the release is a two finger affair, but it does not require any special finesse or strength and is suitable even for those with arthritis.
At $16 per set, these latches are effective, and a good value. Though I’m sure these latches are great for the use case of keeping small children out of the fridge, they are also great for making sure that you don’t inadvertently have the fridge pop open and ruin your food. Highly Recommended
