This monitor is a complete disappointment. The screen is so dull and “filmy” – I cannot get it bright enough. I have adjusted the brightness to the max and I feel like I’m looking through dirty glasses. When reading a document, I want a bright white background, this has a gray hue over it and it’s actually giving me a headache to use. It’s like trying to use your laptop in the sun.
All the extra features and functionality are fine, if you need to watch tv on a monitor, but when the picture is crap and you can’t work on it, all the hoopla is pointless and expensive. I would not recommend this monitor for general work or watching tv.

I recently purchased the 27″ version of this monitor, and I couldn’t be more happy! This monitor has truly elevated my work from home.
The first thing that caught my attention was the stunning display quality. The colors are vibrant, and the sharpness is impeccable, providing a visually immersive experience whether I’m working on spreadsheets or enjoying my favorite movies. Although, watching fast scenes on some videos has motion blur, but normal day-to-day tasks this thing shines.

By adding the ULTIMEA Sound Bar for TV with Subwoofer made me a happy camper.

My box was OK. Butbwhen I opened it. It looks like someone sliced into the bottom on purpose. I have the 32 inch version of this monitor and I loved it. But it didn’t come with these cracks.

I’ve been a die-hard Samsung fan for decades, but this monitor has seriously tarnished Samsung’s stellar street cred… First and foremost, the Thunderbolt 4 port on the back of this monitor is not designed to provide the minimum degree of cable connection stability required for an adjustable height and 180 degree rotation monitor… The slightest movement of the monitor causes vertical lines down the middle of the screen, which can only be removed by re-seating the Thunderbolt 4 cable in its port on the back of the monitor… Really…??? The port should clearly have better cable seating/securing characteristics… And don’t even try to rotate the monitor, because the cable just falls out… And it’s the Samsung Thunderbolt 4 cable that came with the monitor…!!! And forget trying to use the HDMI cable with a silicon Mac, because the resolution is horrible… Less than 4K quality… Probably less than VGA if you’re old enough to have used these back in the day… As soon as I chatted with Apple tech and told them what monitor was using they immediately informed me it was an issue with the monitor… Wow… What a waste of time…

I followed the instructions to the letter, on my Mac mini, the streaming and television side of it went smoothly, I could even access the internet from the TV/applications side of the monitor, however I was unable to access the files and programs from the computer side. I had support come to my house and he ran my Mac from the PC section of the installation and it worked. What they wanted me and the tech to do didn’t work for either of us, the computer needed me to do something different to get my computer to run as a computer. Now that I spent $150 on a house all, it works great and I love it. I gave it five stars because of the destination not the journey

I purchased the SAMSUNG 27-Inch 4K UHD 60Hz 4ms High Resolution Smart White Computer Monitor from Amazon, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. While the resolution and size of the screen initially seemed promising, I’ve encountered a significant issue with the screen intermittently going black. Despite trying different cables and adjusting settings, the problem persists, disrupting my workflow and causing frustration. Additionally, the advertised “Smart” features don’t seem to function as seamlessly as expected, further adding to the disappointment. Considering the premium price point of this monitor, I expected better reliability and performance. Until the screen issue is addressed and resolved, I cannot recommend this product to others.

I suppose it comes down to what you use a monitor for. If, like me, it’s just for office work when this monitor dropped to $350 the decision between this and a mac studio display was a no brainer. Picture quality is great, really clean look, love the white, the plastic doesnt bother me one bit. USB-C to my macbook helps reduce doc and cable clutter on the desk. The entire “smart/tv” part of this monitor is sort of gimmicky, I suppose if you want to use as a tv it’s cool, but I’ll never use any of those features. Not a fan of having a remote for my monitor, just one more thing to lose. Only real complaint is the webcam, I am yet to find a camera that will zoom with my office video software, i think the studio would do better there but is that a $1300 complaint? No way. The height and angle adjustments are great and that was a huge factor for me as my desk already has a raised platform for the monitor, so i need it to go really low. And for that feature its an extra $300 for the studio – that is what really turned me against the studio, i could almost getting the $1300 sale version, but to pay hundreds of dollars for height adjustment? That is a little too petty. So overall, very satisfied. It looks amazing on my whitewash ash / white BluDot can’t desk. my desk has never looked “cleaner”
