I bought this expensive model because it’s the only one I found that could be delivered in my area. Short version, it’s fine but get a cheaper model if you can.
The AI settings that stop it when it senses it’s dry can leave things still moist, especially things like quilts or blankets. Even though I selected the heavy fabric setting, it stopped the comforter after 15 minutes sensing it was dry, when it wasn’t, and at start it said it would be 38 minutes. After that it would just stop after a minute or 2. I had to switch the setting to timed.
Manual works much better for everything, so just use the timed settings.
I don’t plan to hook it up to water so wont be using those settings either(like refresh).
I was thinking phone alerts might be nice for it being done but I can actually hear it very well from the other room. The Samsung washer I got isn’t quite as loud.
Having a light inside is nice.
The size is nice as well since I wash a lot of blankets and comforters.
The lint trap is great. It gets full every load, maybe because I have pets. But now I wont get a pile of lint the the exhaust any more since it catches almost everything.
So it’s fine but if possible for you, I’d say buy one of the cheaper models. The extra bells and whistles aren’t worth it, unless you really want the “refresh” and steam functions. But there’s nothing wrong with it. It gets the job done and it is using less electricity than my old dryer, but that was like 40 years old.
