Run don’t walk away from Samsung appliances! Horrendous experience with the purchase of a washer/dryer and fridge. 2/3 appliances arrived damaged and support is non-existent. Delivery was 8 days late. Received a replacement appliance for the dryer with no notice (turns out the delivery service submitted an internal ticket for replacement) only to find out the replacement was dented similar to the original but now on the front. Three days later the dented replacement dryer has stopped working. 40+ hours trying to reach someone in support, disconnected calls, 3+ hrs hold times, agents masquerading as supervisors, missed call back promises, bounced department to department with no one willing to take responsibility for finding a solution, Agents transferring me to another agent with no notice and mid-sentence, etc…. Congratulations Samsung, you’ve taken what I initially viewed as an unfortunate but easily rectified situation and turned it into a disaster of monumental proportions.

This thing requires constant attention. If you want your stuff dry you either need to rearrange the load every 15 minutes or dry an extra small load at a time. It rolls everything into a tube that can take 2 hours or longer to dry unless you rearrange it. it takes 1 1/2 hours to dry a bedspread, not a quilt, not a comforter, not a blanket, a bedspread. Forget using the moisture sensor feature as only the outside of the wad is dry, the inside is still straight from the washer wet. The only function I have used on this dryer is the timed dry because it doesn’t use the moisture sensor feature. I have a cal king bed and needed an oversized dryer for my bedding so bought this about a year ago and have regretted it from day 1. My 20 yr old dryer would dry a Cal King COMFORTER in 45 minutes. The barrel on this is deep but the shape just makes everything into a giant roll. (See picture). When drying clothes be prepared to spend at least 10 minutes unknotting your pant legs from each other. Also going to need to get your ironing game up to par because after you untangle everything it’s going to need to be ironed.
I have no idea how this is energy efficient since it can take 2 hours or more to dry a regular load of clothes. Worst purchase I have ever made in my life and I once bought a velvet Elvis painting.
