Connects, has good storage, easy to install

I bought this little dude as a companion SSD for my Steam Deck, and I have no complaints at all! In my first few days of use, I’ve installed and played Red Dead 2, Borderlands 3, Forza Horizon 4, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns with absolutely no issues at all.

The only issue I encountered is probably Steam Deck specific, but it does require you to fully format and wipe ALL materials off the drive prior to use, as Sandisk provides a backup folder and software with all of their drives, I believe. Not a big deal, but know that it didn’t appear to be Linux compatible, at least so far as I could tell, until everything was cleared off to change the “owner” of the drive in software, which was a super easy fix to make and didn’t impact my use case for the drive at all.

This is a quality hard drive. All self contained with great transfer rate. It looks good and does what it’s supposed to do.
