I have a cookbook passed down within the family that my great grandmother bought, then it went to my grandmother, then my mom, and now I have it. My granddaughter wants it but it’s been used to the point of falling apart at seams. I wanted a way to preserve it but make sure it is protected. I decided to laminate the pages and put in several binders so my granddaughter can easy find everything. I was worried about the heat on such fragile paper but it pulls it through slowly and gently. The colors and words pop out. I just started on this project and have a long ways to go as this is a very thick book. I’ll update when I am completely done with the cookbook to see how the machine holds up. It is amazingly easy to use. It did take me a few tries to get it straight going in but the release button works great if you need to pull it out to straighten it up. The only downside (very minor downside) is the machine puts off a good amount of heat. Even with the ac at 68, I was sweating. I would suggest a fan to cool you off but to also blow the heat away from you. Other than that, lovely machine at a great price.

Really good lamination machine. Only used it a few times so far but everything came out beautifully. Very small footprint so it takes up very little room on my shelf. Seems like a very good product at a reasonable price.

Four years ago, my teacher colleague and I both purchased laminators for regular classroom use. She purchased this one and I chose an alternative product thinking some of its added features would be useful. After dealing with inconsistent heating, multiple jams, and not using any of the added features I thought I would, my off brand laminator died. My colleague is still using her original Scotch brand laminator and I just recently purchased this one as a replacement. I am very happy with its simplicity, small size, and so far it is working great! I should I have bought this product a long time ago. It fits nicely in a drawer in my classroom and heats up quickly when I need it. The Amazon brand laminating sheets work well with this too. I am very happy with this laminator and I should I have bought it years ago!
