UPDATE
Since I wrote the original review, my grass has come back about 92% (a month after turning white/brown). All indications point to a full lawn even where it had browned. I wouldn’t recommend going this route intentionally, but, if it’s happened by accident, don’t despair, your lawn might well be better in the end!

I realized too late that this is for new grass and seeds. What I didn’t figure is that it will burn mature grass. Meanwhile, it scorches some weeds, but most are just fine and dandy while the regular grass dies. This was a big mistake.

I’ve been using this product every year since it came to market. The one and done fertilizing of new seed and weed elimination is great.
It’s not cheap but when compared to other brand products that serve the same purpose, its competitively priced.
If you do your own lawn work bite the bullet and buy it….saves time and gives you the results you want.

Product worked great. My grass looked much greener after a couple weeks. Make sure you spread evenly when using a drop spreader!!!! If you miss spots you will notice.

This stuff deserves a Zero rating! I live in South Carolina where it’s been hot since mid-April. I laid all the contents of this bag on April 19, 2024, to dead spots in my yard. I loosened up all the soil in those areas and even added garden soil, since it’s so hard to find good top soil in SC. I also added Scott’s 3-in-1 seeds. I watered my entire lawn daily, and not a single seed has sprouted. Check out the photos taken today, May 3, 2024. I should have checked the date on the bag but I tossed it in the garbage after emptying it. Was it expired? Why is there not a single sprout growing? I deserve a refund on this fake product. I’m beyond pissed off. What a waste of money! Buyer beware!!!
