I used this product after I aerated my lawn to help prepare for the winter months and have some nourishment to my grass. It was easy to put on the ground – has instructions regarding how much to use. I hope by next spring the grass will be in better condition that this year. Time will tell.

The instructions on the bag say to apply after you’re done watering for the season. I applied last November and did notice any difference in the grass.
I still had half a bag left over, so in March of this year I applied it again, if for no other reason than to use it up.
Two weeks later and the grass in those areas have definitely greened up and are actively growing at a faster rate than the untreated areas.
Based on my own experience, I would have to call this a late winter fertilizer to be applied before it becomes regular lawn care season. That’s the timeframe before you’ve done the spring clean up and started watering the grass.
