Seachem Prime Fresh & Saltwater Conditioner 16.9 oz Description
Seachem Prime is a complete and concentrated conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater fish tanks, working hard to remove chlorine and chloramine.
For over three decades, Seachem has been a company rooted in sound science. Our experience in the hobby and an educated staff of chemists and biologists are part of the package when you purchase Seachem products. Seachem remains as one of the few surviving independent and privately owned pet care companies. Seachem is owned and operated by
hobbyists
. All of our employees are hobbyists who maintain aquariums at home and at the office. Seachem itself was started because one such passionate hobbyist – Dr. Leo G. Morin (Founder) – recognized the lack of available solutions to aquarists’.’. This resulted in Seachemโs very first product: Cupraplex (today known as Cupramine). Over thirty years later Seachem is still approaching old problems in a new way.
Seachemโs philosophy is that the knowledgeable hobbyist makes the best customer. This is reflected in solid and reliable customer education and support as well as products proven in science and performance. While Seachem has grown rapidly into a national and international firm, it retains the culture of a small company and is readily available to its customers.

Iโve been using this for two years now with my cheap goldfish. And I have never had a problem with the water. pH little bit goes along way with this stuff. I probably bought way too much and it will last me forever.

Great product, I order reorder this product a few times for my fishes. Ease of use, helps water quality, and nitrates

Great staple product for any fish keeper. The product itself is on the pricey side, but it does last quite a while and I know that my axolotls sensitive skin won’t get burned by this conditioner. The stuff smells like death, but it’s worth it for the water quality.

Iโve tried the rest, but this is the best ever..and you canโt overdose in your tank…and it lasts for ages..
highly recommended.

I had to set up an emergency tank and do fish in cycling and prime kept everyone safe and alive. It’s more concentrated than other brands so it is a better value. I keep it on hand for water changes and spikes. I also use when adding new fish to combat ammonia spike dangers.

Best thing ever, you donโt need much as it is very concentrated
Breanna –
Prime is best on the market . Itโs instant and you donโt have to use a ton of it to condition your tank . Always put it in before you add new water . It also helps keep nitrites and ammonia to a minimum. Def recommend it

Great product. Can be add when adding water as anticlore or to water that needs changed to help the ammonia not hurt the fish to buy a couple days to change some water.

I prime my water with this every cleaning and have never had any problems. However, do be careful, I was adding this to my water every day when I started the tank, hoping to combat any ammonia/nitrogen spikes, and you CAN overdo it! I was advised on the internet that this was perfectly safe at well over the label instructions, and that is NOT true. But that wasn’t Prime’s fault, it was mine for trusting the internet. At any rate, it is a great product that, when used in accordance with the label, is safe and effective.

Been using this for years. Never had an issue. It sticks like sulfur as the bottle gets older, but it works good and my fish are healthy and happy.
