Looks great and fast enough, filled it up with 14TB of Data and the unit died in less than 2 months of light use. Rescue warranty a joke – 30 to 60 days for replacement on the unit. Seagate received it over a week ago and have not bothered to send the replacement back to me yet – waiting, waiting for my backup hard drive to come back – slow service.

Tengo mas HDDs de esta marca de 8TB y no se calientan tanto como este. Sobrepasa los 60 grados rapidamente. Si lo quieres para almacenar, bien. Pero para esta conectado usandolo todo el tiempo, yo no lo recomiendo.

Ya dispongo de varios discos duros de Seagate y todo sobre ellos es bueno. Nunca me han fallado y llevo años con ellos. Un único pero Tengo 2 modelos similares pero más antiguos que van muy bien, pero que llevan 2 puertos USB adicionales. Lo bueno de estos puertos es que he observado que algunos dispositivos que me dan problemas en mi PC, conectados directamente a estos puertos funcionan muy bien. Es el único pero que le pongo al SEAGATE recien adquirido.
