I had been considering this watch for 3-4 months before I bought them. I read customers’ comments, watched reviews on youtube, and learned all the pros and cons of this watch. You definitely won’t be satisfied with its luminescence, moreover, you won’t see the time when it’s dark. But this doesn’t bother me at all. When I first opened the box, I was astonished. They look amazing in real life. Photos and pictures can’t show how they are beautiful. I have been wearing them for 7 days and can say they work perfectly. I wind up the watch every day (Seiko suggests 20 turns, but I do 10 turns) and wear it for 3-6 hours a day. Correctness is also at a high level. They are 5-6 seconds faster for five days. I think it’s a good indicator for a mechanical watch. The strap band isn’t symmetrical. One strap is shorter than another. So it was slightly difficult for me to put on the watch for the first time because I got used to the band of my shock watch. I’ve read some comments about the unsymmetrical position of pointers and lume. If you look at the watch from different angles it can seem that they are displaced. But when I change the angle, every item stands in its place. I guess it happens because of the form of glass. As far as purchase is concerned, I bought this watch from Electronic Express for the most affordable price among all offers. The delivery was fast, within 2 days.

Nice EDC watch, love the blacked out style of this seiko, can wear it in almost any occasion. I personally like the nato strap look so that’s a plus for me. But be warned after sunset it gets pretty hard to see the dial, because, we’ll you can see. The lum on the dials don’t gather light to easily, but that’s the price to pay I guess for this look. If the lums didn’t have that dark coating I think it would have worked fine in the dark as well.

Great watch, solid movement, bad ass look! Love this watch, Price is reasonable for a seiko and I am happy with the quality of the watch received and the all black look. Not easy to read at night but that is not why you buy an all black watch and it is easily visible in the daytime. Would prefer sapphire crystal at this price point. lower end watches like pagani design manage to include sapphire on most of their watches and I feel like seiko could have made that work here, domed sapphire would look great on this watch.

Lots of upsides with this lightweight, NATO band equipped Seiko 5 Sports piece. They cal it a stealth look and the black on black definitely is. Love the way it looks.
Only downside (why I dropped a star) is that the lume is not good. I can pretty much only get it to charge in daylight and it doesn’t last long. For the short time I can see it, it looks great. I just wish it was brighter and lasted longer.
