Been using this A/C unit almost nonstop since I bought it 7 months ago. It will cool a small area. The fan is not that great on it. It is pretty loud but not nearly as loud as other A/C units portables. Though it does not push as much air as those cheaper units either. Not that much of a difference between low and high fan speeds. Super cold all of the time. When it is hot outside it never has a problem. If it is cooler outside and using it sometimes it will get E4 error for a moment and stop due to the system defrosting. Will update once I hit 1 year of use. Shipping was super slow for an Amazon product. Took 3 weeks to ship to me when it showed in stock.

Bought this unit for a camper because we didn’t want to spend the money to fix or replace the 16 year old a/c unit in the camper. Even though it is big and takes up space, it cools the camper down remarkably well. Had to tape the exhaust hose around the window to keep it from coming loose.

Box was re-taped bottom of box was cut open and entire box taped up. 2 of the parts where the air comes
out were broken. can’t see repacking it and returnng it. we just glued the parts together. Everything looked new, Just think we got someones rejected A/C. and not a new one like I paid for.

I like that the unit extension fits into the window without having to screw into my window frame as I have seen with other makers. Also, the unit runs very well. Very nice fan, that itself cools a room. The A/C part is quite good, easily cools 15’x12′ bedroom that has 3 windows. I am very pleased. In addition, the unit, due to the carrier, had broken a caster wheel in handling the unit. SHINCO simply asked for a photo of the damaged caster etc. and via email arranged for a FED EX delivery of a new caster. I am super pleased with the unit and SHINCO’s customer service. I chose the right unit for a reasonable price.

The air conditioner itself is working properly, but it was packed unreliably, so I got it in a broken wheel, which is very upsetting. If the seller sends me a replacement wheel, I will be happy.
I supplement my review: The seller helped solve the problem and sent me a replacement wheel. This is very good, now I can say that the product completely satisfies me.

This ac works well and cooling down our 300 sq f room, easy to install, and smaller than other devices.
The only downside is that it might be alittle loud for a bed room but still tolerable like a white noise but understanding how it works I can see why it is loud having the fan and the compressor inside that small unit, overall we are happy with the purchase.

I live in Texas in a mobile home. The summers are brutal and we’ve never been able to get cool inside. Average temp indoors is 86 degrees. But this ac unit is wonderful and keeps us cool – it was easy to set up as well. Definitely worth the money!!
